A cozy home in a quiet part of town, 200 meters from the sea as the crow flies

Dimora Libàno takes its name from a tiny beach on the northern side of the island of Marettimo, accessible only by boat. It is a comfortable three-room apartment, fully furnished and equipped with all the amenities. We’ve also set up a small library in our living area, and there’s a small veranda furnished with a table and chairs where four people can enjoy breakfast or dinner.
The house is equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
The mattresses and pillows are orthopedic and comfortable.
We’ll provide bed and bath linens with midweek changes available upon request.
Theapartment has been recently renovated and is located on the mezzanine level of a small building in a very quiet part of town, yet just a 3-minute walk from everything: bars, pizzerias, restaurants, a pharmacy, the ferry terminal, and water taxis.
The island of Marettimo is a pedestrian-only oasis where cars are not allowed; for this reason, children experience a way of life that doesn’t exist in cities: playing in the streets and, often, staying out late to play with their peers.
The village on the island of Marettimo is very small, and everything is within a few minutes’ walk.
The beaches can be reached on foot or by boat.
You can book a tour of the island by renting a small boat with a captain who will show you the beautiful, pristine beaches and the numerous magnificent caves that can’t be reached on foot, and you can also take advantage of the beach taxi service.
If you love scuba diving, we’ll recommend local dive operators on the island to make your experience complete and unforgettable.
For food lovers, we’ll recommend the best restaurants where you can enjoy the famous pasta with lobster and fresh local fish.
For those who love hiking in the mountains, history, and archaeology, we’ll recommend routes to visit the castle of Punta Troia and the ruins of Roman houses, which include a small Byzantine church that has been skilfully restored.
