Bohemio Rebel: Sauna, Pickleball + Walkable Marfa

Bohemio Rebel is a sprawling four-bedroom adobe retreat designed for families and groups of up to 10. Gather around the fire, unwind in the private courtyard, play pickleball, experience the Scandinavian sauna or walk a few blocks to Marfa’s galleries, restaurants, shops and bars.

Inspired by Kerouac, the open road, starry skies and wine-fueled fireside conversations, Bohemio pairs authentic West Texas character with generous spaces made for spending time together.

THE SPACE
Bohemio Rebel is an approximately 3,000-square-foot adobe lodge with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.

The sleeping arrangements include:

• Bedroom 1: One king bed
• Bedroom 2: One queen bed
• Bedroom 3: Four twin beds
• Bedroom 4: One queen bed

The home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests while still providing plenty of room to spread out. Its layout works especially well for families, groups of friends and guests traveling together who appreciate both shared gathering spaces and private bedrooms.

The Rebel Lodge has its own private patio and enclosed garden. Guests also have access to the additional recreational grounds next door, featuring the Bohemio Pickleball Paddle Club, outdoor lounging areas, a covered pavilion, outdoor showers and a Scandinavian sauna.

The kitchen is fully equipped for group meals, while the living and dining spaces are designed for long dinners, games and time together. There is no traditional television, but guests can stream from their own devices or enjoy movies on the indoor or outdoor projector screen.

Bohemio is located just a few blocks from Highland Street and Hotel Saint George, making it easy to walk to many of Marfa’s galleries, restaurants, shops and bars while still enjoying the privacy and atmosphere of a West Texas hacienda.

GUEST ACCESS/AMENITIES
Guests have private access to the entire four-bedroom Rebel Lodge, including its kitchen, living and dining areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, private courtyard, covered patio and enclosed garden.

Guests may also enjoy the adjoining recreational grounds, including the pickleball court, pavilion, outdoor lounging areas, outdoor showers and Scandinavian sauna.

The home has keyless entry. Your unique access code and complete arrival instructions will be sent approximately two days before check-in.

PARKING
Street parking is available on Russell Street and El Paso Street. We recommend parking near the El Paso Street entrance for the easiest access to the property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

TRAINS
Bohemio is located near Marfa’s active railroad tracks, and passing trains are part of the soundtrack of life here. Train frequency varies, and sensitive sleepers may hear them during the night. Individually packaged earplugs are provided in the kitchen.

PETS
Pets are welcome when included on the reservation. Please add the correct number of pets under the “Guests” section when booking so the applicable pet fee is included. Undeclared pets may result in an additional charge.

TV & STREAMING
Bohemio is intentionally television-free. Guests are welcome to stream from their own devices using the Wi-Fi or enjoy the indoor and outdoor projector screens. Board games and books are also provided.

WI-FI
The property has reliable Wi-Fi with additional boosters throughout the house. However, Marfa is remote, and occasional service interruptions can occur. Internet availability cannot be guaranteed during regional outages.

CLIMATE CONTROL
The entire home has central heating and air conditioning. Two thermostats regulate different areas of the house, and individual heaters are available in the bedrooms for additional comfort.

FIREPIT
An enclosed outdoor firepit is available unless Presidio County is under a burn ban. Never leave a fire unattended, and do not use the firepit during high winds or when outdoor burning is prohibited. Firewood is provided when available and may also be purchased locally.
