“Inchecking, was terrible. No room for early or late checkin regarding flight arrival or departure. They have communication through whatsapp, but much delay in response. They will reply, but there's nothing they're actually able to help you with. Bathroom is so small that you have to stand either in the shower or with one foot on each side of the toilet in order to close the door. Facilities it self are good, once you're able to survive the checkin. I would not book this again however. Worst……

“The room was fine. The hotel advertises services, but nothing works. The workout room was minimal and it was locked. The pool was closed for service. The sauna did not work for over a week. They use facial recognition (instead of keys) to enter the hotel and other spaces. That didn't work the first day either. Save your money. Stay in a cheaper place with just a bed and a bath-- that's all you'll get here.”

“Got to stay here to enjoy the Ipanema side of Rio de Janeiro. Check in wasn’t very intuitive and there was not a 24 hour staff available for security. I found myself stuck on the inside of the apartment for some time trying to figure out how to leave the building. There were so many mosquitos within the stay that make nights sleepless - there’s a window in the kitchen that is continuously open that make nights restless. The door to the bedroom does not stay closed so I would have to lock myself……

“The location is great, directly across the street from the beach, and the hosts were very responsive. They sent a technician twice to address the hot water issue, although it was never fully resolved. This place is not really suitable for five people unless you're comfortable being very cramped. The double sofa bed felt like sleeping on plywood, and the twin bed was simply a mattress on the floor. The hot water was unreliable and depended on the pilot light staying lit, so showers were hit or……
