The lodge and bungalows are beautiful, probably the best we had during our entire 3 week trip in Namibia and we regret that we only had one night there to enjoy.
The grounds are very well maintained and their waterhole attracts plenty of animals (even rhino"s) that you can question if a game drive makes sense (we did one, but saw the same animals at the waterhole).
The encounter with the "tame" cheetahs that were raised on the lodge is amazing.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
While dinner was ok and the food tasted well, the buffet formula fell a bit short compared to the overall very high standards of the lodge. By the time we got to the dessert, little choice was left.
A buffet formula also does not work well for meat that is put "au bain marie" instead of being cooked to your personal preference.
On the other hand it allows more choice and you can eat as much as you want (as long as the buffet is replenished in time).
I don't want this comment to be interpreted as too negative but this is the only thing where we believe the lodge can still make an improvement in order to excel in everything they do.
