Maritime Alps Vacation Homes

Gelitin, a group of artists from Vienna, has erected a pink bunny measuring 200 feet in length (about 60 metres) on the side of a northern Italian mountain.

The artwork, titled "Hase" (which translates simply as "Hare"), is located at a height of 1600m on the mountain Colletto Fava where there is a ski resort. This is near the village of Artesina, Piemonte, Italy.

Il nous offrait presque tous les jours des cadeaux...des légumes et des fruits de son jardin, de la confiture de figues "maison".... du vin... Et à notre arrivée un beau plateau apéritif avec fromage et charcuterie régionale. La maison était très bien équipée .. de toute façon...une question...un petit truc manquant .. "Pros: Pathway around the lake, huge and well kept garden. Local market in the city centre. The house is beautiful, a lovely scent of lavender is all around in the rooms. If you need to rest, the bed is so soft and comfortable Cons: Unfortunately, in this period of the time, the offer for lunch and more for dinner is almost zero, so if you stay here in March, keep calm and relax, buy food at the local market or phone to the restaurant in the closer cities (about 30km far)"

"Fantastic place for a family vacation in the snow. It’s so good to be able to ski in and out. The dinner was absolutely delicious. So was the breakfast. The rooms are big bathroom is clean and brand new nice towels nice sheets. Only down is the firmness of the mattresses and the pillows that we found very hard Other than that, we highly recommend especially it’s a very good price as well"

"What a gem of a hotel! Location is in the middle of the city square and central to the city. Facilities and staff were outstanding. Staff went out of their way to assist you and make you feel welcomed. Breakfast was substantial and had a wide variety of food. Parking was simple as they have a garage in which they will park your car. I would definitely return to this hotel next time I am in the area!"

"This was a highlight on our drive from Lyon to Nice. In the charming small town of Fossano Italy, this beautiful former monastery was a special treat. Service was outstanding - friendly, respectful with English spoken flawlessly from many of the staff. Our room, with sky high vaulted wood beamed ceiling was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Modern bathroom with finished concrete bath and lovely toiletries. We enjoyed an apero in the bar ( complete with complimentary charcuterie plate at happy hour) and then dinner in their restaurant. Dinner was at a fine dining calibre with a modest price tag. Breakfast, included with our stay was filled with freshly baked cakes and pastries, fruit and delicious coffee. As fairly seasoned travellers, expectations in this mid price range are hit and miss. Palazzo Righini hit it out of the park. Grazie Mille!! 🇮🇹❤️"
