Chic Forest Lodge with Sauna

Nestled on the edge of a tranquil forest in Markelo, the Bos Lodges offer the perfect mix of luxury and nature. These stylish chalets—available in 4, 5, and 6-person variants—are thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring cozy interiors, sleek modern furnishings, and large windows that bathe each space in natural light. For an extra indulgent experience, opt for the wellness lodge.

Bring your furry friends along—pets are welcome here! With direct access to forest trails, long walks with your dog are just steps from your door. Just a short drive away, the Holterberg nature area is perfect for leashed hikes, and nearby pet-friendly cafés in Markelo and Rijssen offer dog bowls and treats. There’s even a small local event, “Woof & Walk,” held monthly, where travelers and locals gather for guided walks through the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park.

After a day outdoors, explore the culinary charm of the region. Enjoy traditional Dutch dishes at nearby eateries like Herberg de Pot or Brasserie DOK’s in Rijssen. Prefer to stay in?
