Everything We Needed and More

Sunset Shores Cabin fulfilled our expectations. The view is amazing, - make sure you see a sunset - the accommodations were top notch, and the hostess was personable and went out of the way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We were there for a Ladies Getaway, but would also be a great place for a Family or a Couples Retreat too.

A great place to gather with friends

The cabin met our every need beautifully. Plenty of space for our group and tons to do without having to even go outside! We made good use of the arcade machines, foosball, pool, and tables for lots of board games.

Fabulous Family Fun

We had a relaxing and fun family trip! There are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy, or you can just sit and look at the lake. The house was clean with plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Lots of space - especially enjoyed the screen porch. Lots to do - available games and activities ensured no one was bored! Very convenient location for us. Sunset Shores had something for everyone from water activities to our ongoing pool tournament. We hope to go again.

Great place for a bachelor party!

The house was awesome. It was full of fun areas and things to do. It was situated beautifully on Little Green Lake. We rented a boat and were able to dock right up to the house and load up. It was super clean and organized inside, and all guests were able to get a comfy bed. Would definitely stay again or recommend to friends and family.

This rental had everything and more!!

We only were in town two days with a large family. Now we all want to come back for a week long vacation! Scenery was beautiful and the home has all the toys, games and amenities you could need! So well thought out and comfortable!! All of us were majorly impressed.

Fabulous Lake House!

Sunset Shores Cabin provides you with everything you need for a getaway to the lake. Not only are there tons of games and activities, both indoors and outdoors, the house comes complete with everything you could possibly need except food and drinks. The house was clean and spacious for our entire family to spend a weekend relaxing and enjoying each other and what the house had to offer. Emily is very responsive and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this house if you are looking for a getaway!

5 Stars – Perfect Birthday Getaway

My friends and I (a group of 8 from Chicago) stayed at this beautiful home for a quick birthday escape, and it was exactly what I needed—peaceful, cozy, and absolutely stunning. The house provided the perfect space for us to relax, laugh, and truly enjoy being together.Though it was a bit chilly during our stay, we still got to enjoy some sunshine outside, and I can only imagine how amazing the outdoor space would be in the summer. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, which made the experience even better.My only complaint? A day and a half just wasn’t enough. We checked in Friday evening and left Sunday morning, and I wish we had at least five days to really soak it all in. I’m already looking forward to returning—hopefully in warmer weather so we can take full advantage of everything the property has to offer.Highly recommend!

All of the amenities you need for a great time!

This house had everything you need for a great vacation! We were traveling with four teenagers who were never bored. We took advantage of everything - kayaks, pool table, games, multiple TVs, etc. Husband loved all of the fishing gear and caught multiple fish right off the dock. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. We loved watching the sunsets from the dock on screened in porch. Very quiet lake. Overall a great time!

Family Weekend

Overall — the property had everything we needed. The fishing off the dock was GREAT, as one of us even caught a very large muskee right off of it! I do feel that the place looks a bit worse for wear, or hastily constructed, in a few areas (vinyl peeling off the ceiling of the outside porch, etc.,) but this didn’t affect the overall quality of our stay. My only suggestion would be a larger dining room table. Oh — and the host was SUPER responsive and SUPER helpful. 10/10 on that front!

Exceeds expectations

We rented this cabin over the Fourth of July weekend and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the home was. It appears to have recently been remodeled and the owners have done a fantastic job furnishing and equipping the renter with not only a comfortable place to stay but tons of extras. The garage game space was a pleasant surprise well equipt with life jackets, fishing poles, kids toys and plenty of games. There is also a nice spot in the basement to watch tv, play pool and do some laundry. The screened in porch is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view of the lake!

Wisconsin Getaway!

My husband I booked this house for us and 9 other family members for 6 days. We wanted to do some fishing and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean and very well stocked!! Every detail was well thought out by the owners. We have rented a lot of homes thru VRBO and this one has been one of the best! We rented a pontoon for the week and having the dock and being so close to the water was perfect! We enjoyed the games provided in the evenings. And the kitchen was planty spacious for the family. Our only recommendations would be a half bath in the basement (if it is even possible.) And a place out back for washing up and cleaning fish. Other than that, perfection!

Family Fun

This house was so perfect!! The house has everything. And the lake we had to ourselves. We brought our pontoon and left in the water at the house the entire time. Making it easy to go out and tube and ski and then come back and grill and chill. Their is a bar around the corner that was very good and gave the up north feel with great food. The kids fished off the doc with all the fishing equipment that provided. (Buy bait next to Piggly wiggly down the road at citgo) They caught a bass and bluegill and enjoyed every minute. There is plenty of beds for everyone and the basement and garage are decked out to entertain all kids. This was one of our best rentals so call a couple families and book it now. I know I will be back. Also big green lake is 20 minutes drive and is nice to visit for the day and have lunch.

Wonderful place for a Lawsonia golf trip!

Our group of 12 adults stayed here for a golf trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The house had plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was ideal — short drive to a great golf course. The hosts were fantastic, super responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this property for large groups — I’d definitely come back!
