Great position and walkable to most places in town. Staff were very friendly and helpful when they could. Hotel was looking a little tired. Carpets needed replacing. Our room had very poor wifi and the bathroom sink was leaking. Overall , the hotel didn’t reflect the price that was charged.

Had a room in the old part of the hotel at the front which was a tad noisy from the traffic immediately outside. That said, everything else was good/excellent and this is a nice hotel in the centre of a lovely town.

We had a ground floor double room. It had a slight odour to it and areas of the room need attending to. . We did not get much sleep due to the local church bells which rang throughout the night! Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All the staff we came across were very helpful and pleasant. The property is in the middle of town and on the doorstep of everything.
