“4x4 Vehicle access only unless you want to carry your bags 300m, including over a 50m 2 x plank & wire swing bridge. This is not in listing. Host has a 2 person seater 4x4 & said he only offers rides for 3+ night bookings & complained doing this for visitors damages his vehicle! When he reluctantly offered a lift out as I had a broken ankle & we commented that we felt he was prioritising his vehicle over us, there was no apology for the inconvenience, just a tirade of abuse as he started……

“Gorgeous setting and amazing host. The cottage was clean and tidy with everything we needed thoughtfully supplied. The resident weka and oystercatchers kept a close eye on us. There were plenty of fish, and we saw rays and orca too. Waking up to the birdsong and going to sleep to the sound of the waves just outside the window made this a perfect spot for relaxing and recharging. ”
