「Lovely comfortable warm home. Welcoming touch of fresh eggs and milk. Felt at home being on the farm. Enjoyed the company of horses nearby with a 5 minute walk to the Wairau river. Lots of close walks nearby. A hidden treasure. Love to come back.」

「Online listing does not explain clearly the ‘off grid’ nature of the property (limited power & hot water) and does not include details about the 300m walk (incl a skinny sway bridge crossing) to get from where you park your car to the property, nor was this communicated to us as part of the special instructions you normally receive days before your arrival. No contact was made until a few hours prior and no information was provided at that time, only on arrival were we told that we needed a 4WD...
