The owner was so helpful and communicated quickly! Unfortunately it was so intensely hot while we were in Marseille. I didn’t take that into consideration when I booked an apartment with no AC. We ended up leaving a day early because there was absolutely no breeze coming through the windows. I would definitely stay again, but when it was cooler! Otherwise the unit was really lovey and located in a great neighborhood.

Our reservation was from 7/12 to 7/14. Unfortunately, the access and conditions upon entering the building are dirty and unsafe, with an extremely strong smell of urine and dampness, resembling an abandoned building. The steps to the third floor where the apartment is located are unsafe. Definitely not recommended for seniors. The reason for this review is to warn of these conditions so that it doesn't be an unpleasant surprise for others like it was for us.We immediately left and had to book another place at the last minute. It's only fair to let people know about these unsafe and unsanitary conditions. The apartment looks like the photos without A/C, manageable, but sleeping in fear of insecurity and filth upon entering is unacceptable.Sophie was very respectful, trying to explain what Marseille is all about, but these conditions are unacceptable.Knowing in advance what you're paying for is the right thing to do. We would never have rented this place if we had known about these conditions. We wasted all our time and money.

Séjour à Marseille

Logement très agréable avec sa grande terrasse.Très bien équipé. Très bien situé. Le seul bémol est la récupération des clés qui se fait dans un bar, à 10min du Logement pas pratique avec la valise dans les ruelles de Marseille. A la remise des clefs j'ai du attendre le gérant car il n'y avait personne dans le bar, j'ai loupé mon train. Une boite à clefs serait plus appropriée. Hormis cela tout c'est bien passé.

Great vibe

This apartment had absolutely everything! Extensive cutlery, dishes, you name it. Plus, it had the coolest bohemian, and very French vibe I have ever seen in a VRBO rental. Lots of interesting Knick Knacks, and books. Really lovingly outfitted. Especially loved the little balcony.Host was super responsive. Highly recommend.

Fijn verblijf in superleuke buurt

Het verblijf was aangenaam.. Het terras was heerlijk en het bed ook. De inrichting vond ik wat vol met spullen van Sophie, zodat er weinig plek was voor onze eigen spullen. En ik miste een duidelijke instructie voor de elektrische kookplaat. De locatie was super. Zeer levendig.

Amazing peaceful perfect stay

the property was so dreamy and perfect. it was a very Zen space with everything you need. The balcony was a very special place to spend time morning and evening. In such a good location. 20 mins walking to the old port and right next to several vibrant squares for food and bars.

Wunderbare drei Tage

Unser Aufenthalt war toll! Eine wunderbare Wohnung, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ein tolle Terrasse mit schönem Hinterhofambiente. Die Gastgeberin Sophie ist sehr nett, schade, dass zu wenig Zeit war, um sie mehr kennenzulernen.

Très agréable séjour

J'ai passé quelques jours à Marseille pour des raisons professionels. Sophie m'a reçu à mon arrivée, est très sympa et serviable. L'appartement est un joli domicile où on trouve du repos après les jours de travails. La terrasse est grande et offre une belle vue sur les toits de Marseille. Comme l'appartement se trouve au dernier étage et qu'il n'y a pas de voisins, c'est vraiment calme. Merci pour tout et à la prochaine fois!

Tolle Tage in super Lage

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist super, La Plaine und Cours Julien mit vielen hippen Läden und kleinen Restaurants in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir konnten Mitte Februar auch schon den tollen Balkon genießen. Sophie ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und superfreundliche Gastgeberin.
