Our house is situated in the 8th arrondissement of Marseille in the heart of the Creeks Park.
This place is highly sought after by Marseille and tourists in search of calm and well being.
The house is typical of the village of Goudes with a history and character (it dates from 1856).
The sea is part of your living environment, since it is less than 100 meters from the house.
This area is ideally located in Marseille since you will reside in a natural setting yet close to the city center.
A shuttle boat from the port of the red tip (2mm by car) you will drop the old port.
Hiking trails are within walking distance of the house but also the village of Callelongue (5mm) or Goudes (1mm).

Die unmittelbare Nähe zur Calanques ist wunderbar. Nach erstem sehr positiven Eindruck, mussten wir jedoch feststellen, dass es recht dreckig war. Wir mussten alles aus der Küche spülen und auch das Bad und die Zimmer waren sehr staubig und wenig einladend. Ein Bett war etwas schief, da der Lattenrost nicht richtig passt. Alles in allem OK. We were promised a quiet location, an air conditioned building and 2 bedrooms…. We arrived to a hugely popular area with Vespa bikes going up down all afternoon and evening and popular restaurants nearby. There was a party going on at the next door gallery with loud music well beyond 11pm. The air conditioning was upstairs only… downstairs was very hot. The 2 bedrooms? One was a bedroom with no air, the other was a mezzanine large corridor with next to it. Thus there was no privacy for adult sharers.

A/C is only on 1st floor!

There is no A/C on the ground floor, so it’s very hot there in the summer. The one on 1st floor is very old and doesn’t help much. No dishwasher tablets or detergents for washing machine (not even for 1 wash). No garbage bags - we needed to buy our own. No key in the toilet, so it was kinda stressing making poo. No shelf in the shower, so you can’t put your gel wash anywhere. No coffee capsules… again, not even one or two. Tv didn’t work, light in the fridge was broken. Place is beautiful and beaches nearby are great. But house could be maintained better, looks like someone lost the will to take care of it. Also a lot of webs and plants were kinda dried. Lack of small things that would greatly improve our experience. Andrea was very nice and helpful 😊. Overall I don’t think 9.4/10 rating is accurate. We expected better, in my opinion 7/10 would be fair.

La maison est spacieuse, propre et est conforme à l'annonce. Les chambres sont en enfilade et ça peut être un inconvénient si 2 couples occupent la maison.

Gute Lage für Calanque Wanderungen

Sehr netter Empfang, Lage toll, da nah am Meer und den Calanques. Ein Schlafzimmer ist allerdings ein Durchgangszimmer! Bad hat leider kein Fenster und kein Lüftung. Aber sonst gemütlich eingerichtet!

Huisje in de Calanques.

Het huis was in orde. Spijtig dat de ramen en deuren niet voorzien waren van insectenwerende gazen. Er waren veel insecten ook binnen. In de tuin miste ik kussens voor de harde stoelen. De badkamer was ok, maar als daar geen verluchting wordt gemaakt dan komt daar een probleem. Vlak naast het huis is vanaf 1 juli een kunstdomein. Daar er geen privéparking is zal je soms problemen hebben met parkeren. Het huis is niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht te been zijn want het heeft een gevaarlijke trap zonder leuning op het laatste stuk. Airco alleen in 1 slaapkamer. Spijtig dat de tv niet beschikt over chromecast. Meubels ok. Hygiëne ok. Omgeving aan de overkant is fantastisch. Zee en rotsen. Voor het overige auto nodig want de weg is te gevaarlijk om te wandelen. 1 handdoek per persoon is te weinig voor een ganse week. Toch hadden we een prettig verblijf. Ik zou dit huisje met kleine aanpassingen direct in de Ardennen willen hebben.

Ausgangspunkt für Klettertouren

Wir haben dort über Silvester einen sehr angenehmen Kletterurlaub verbracht. Das ältere, aber gemütliche Haus liegt in einer Sackgasse etwas vor Les Goudes. Der Eingang zum Klettergebiet ist entweder zu Fuß oder mit einer kurzen Autofahrt erreichbar, auch mehrere Bäcker finden sich in 1-2km Entfernung. Im großen Koch- und Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss kann man schöne Kochabende verbringen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war freundlich und schnell. Viele Grüße

Séjour dans un lieu où le temps semble s'être arrêté

L'endroit est calme à quelques pas du front de mer et des transports vers le centre-ville. La terrasse et la pièce de vie sont très agréables, la cuisine bien équipé. La salle d'eau /wc est un peu exiguë. Les echanges avec notre hôte ont été agréable! Merci Pierre

A l'entrée des calanques pour partir à pieds ou en vélo ...

Un peu sombre en bout de parking, cette location a le gros avantage d'être à 2 mn de la mer, à l'entrée des calanques. A pieds ou à vélo, on peut se passer de la voiture à Marseille ce qui est très appréciable. Propriétaire disponible et à l'écoute.

Zwischen Stadt und Natur

Das kleine Haus verfügt über einen eigenwilligen besonderen Charme. Es liegt in Nachbarschaft zu einfachen Häusern mit freundlichen Bewohnern und zu einer imposanten Fabrikruine, in der Künstler und Handwerker aktiv sind. Das Haus ist zweigeschossig und vor allem das EG mit offenem Grundriss und der davor befindliche Eingangshof laden zum Aufenthalt ein. Bad und Schlafstellen sind einfach, aber es ist alles da. Das Meer ist nicht weit, allerdings darf man dort keine Badestelle erwarten. Wanderungen in die Calanque kann man vor der Haustür beginnen. Mit dem Auto ist man in 25 min am alten Hafen von Marseille. Die Vermieter des Hauses haben wir als sehr hilfsbereit kennengelernt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt, obwohl Februar, sehr genossen.
