Someone Checking in after us was given a key to our room and tried to enter after we had gone to bed. Thankfully we had placed the night lock in place and they could not get in. How this could happen was not explained. Upon checkout the front desk was unaware of this issue.

I keep returning back to this hotel only because of the restaurant that it is attached to! The food is absolutely amazing! However.....upon checking into the hotel this last time, the staff was more interested in their phones than to the front desk. It was not only the one time that we witnessed it. When we checked in, when we went down for dinner as well as later that night when we went down for swimming and games. Please do better! Your hotel is really nice, the restaurant was great, don't ruin it by having terrible service at your front desk.

Room was clean, although the lighting in the room was rather dim. 2 bath towels for a double queen was not enough. didn't request more, just used our beach towels. The location was convenient for our reason for stay (close to hospital) and also for shopping, gas and restaurants. The front desk clerk called me back because there was a question with my cr card. They could not get it to go through, said it had a date of 3/31/26 and they were charging on 4/1/26. either the evening or daytime clerk recorded it incorrectly (??)because the card expiration date was 3/31 = March 2031; so I had to give them another card to use.

Breakfast: We had to be at the Hospital at 6am so we missed breakfast. Bar: The bar looked busy and people were relaxed. Overall: Although this is an older property it held its own. Majority of guests were business or construction singles. And family with kids or teens. Suggestion: The jacuzzi is open to 11pm and children are allowed access until it closes. This policy Doesn’t provide a time where ADULTS can use it without Kids jumping splashing and overcrowding it. Most Hotels I stay at balance it and closes the jacuzzi at 8 or 9 pm to children under 16/18. I choose my stay at hotels that have jacuzzi. I am handicapped and truly enjoy the Jacuzzi. Please consider this. This property does not have Surveillance coverage of the parking lot or the hallways, or its many exterior access doors. The days of liability ignorance have passed. High quality Cameras are not expensive and are expected and comforting. The outside parking is not well lighted. Lastly This property does not have an elevator installed. Two floors no elevator. Its not a code violation but does chase away customers.

The hotel was full with a family reunion which they occupied the pool area the entire weekend, so nobody else could use it. There was trash all over the place even though the housekeepers did their best to keep up. I asked a housekeeper for extra towels, and to remove the trash. The employee replied “no” and then walked away.

The staff was very nice. The pool area is nice but several large groups were there at the same time. So the pool was packed with bigger kids and it was hard for my toddler grandkids to enjoy it. However, I would stay here again!

The walls of the rooms are paper thin. Because the hotel features and caters to pool parties, the customer base is often rather rowdy and very loud even in the rooms. The hotel is not responsible for the behavior of the adolescent children, but they could enforce quiet hours and running in the halls and room etiquette.
