「I was at another wonderful hotel in Otranto who was sold out my last evening, and I moved to Palazzo de Mori. A very bad experience. I let the property know before I checked in I wasn’t feeling well, and they kindly had my room ready early. All was well until I saw the room. There is NO window in the room. The only window is in the bathroom and is a 12” square. The only ventilation is through a louvered door and if the slats are open, you can see directly into the room from both the...

「This a more like upscale hostel in an office building. Communication is via WhatsApp - checkin is rather complicated as they referred to a yellow room which we couldn’t find and it turned out they meant Room 1. Keys are stored in security box which was a bit outdated. We booked full breakfast but never were served breakfast. Please be aware there is constant noise until 2-3 am in the morning even if you close windows. The only advantage is that it is walking distance from the old city centre.」
