“ The receptionist was initially evasive and unhelpful when asked for advice on parking. But I persisted with questions, & she offered more information and it turned out that she knew more than she had let on. E g. the parking places marked with white lines are free at certain times of the year, while the blue ones are fee-bearing. “This is a beautiful, character-filled hotel that is easily accessible but quiet and secluded. We were in a suite with a massive (California King) bed, huge marble bath, and lovely large bathroom with walk-in shower. We had a second-floor room with its own large outdoor sitting area with a view of the grounds. The restaurant was amazing: we ate breakfast and dinner each of the three days we stayed. “Perfect Hotel, can't fault it, we had a brilliant stay. Yes the rooms are basic, but they're clean, big enough and the AC worked really well! Breakfast was a great selection and the pool was lovely and you could always get a spot on a sunbed. Location incredible, literally 30 seconds to the beach and a bunch of bars and restaurants. Don't expect 5 star quality but seriously great hotel all round, would stay there again for sure :)”
