"Comfortable, spacious and beautiful accommodations, clean and with two bathrooms which was so needed for our group and not easy to find in Spain. The staff was friendly and help us purchase the El Camino pilgrim passports to collect our stamps. They helped us even though we arrived late and they have a great restaurant with very delicious food just next door where you can request your first stamp. Right on The Camino start, you guys are ten out of ten"

"I've stayed in a few Mercure hotels over the years, the quality can vary to say the least, but this is an excellent hotel, fairly centrally located and very nicely decorated. Rooms are spacious and very clean, minimalist in a very good way and clearly very well mantained. The patio area downstairs is very pleasant (especially when there aren't big groups of people being loud, which can happen sometimes). The food in the main bar is excellent; we did not try the restaurant but heard it was very good. Staff were friendly and kindly changed my room for one with better views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable."
