We loved feeling like we were in the middle of the country, but we were only 20 minutes from the city with all of the many things Cincinnati has to offer, 5 minutes from a grocery store and restaurants, and 35 minutes from the airport. 「Darling cottage on the Loveland bike trail, just 8 minutes from where we lived for over 30 years! Close to our grandchildren which we were thankful due to a big snow storm and single digit temperatures upon arrival. Even though our grandchildren and dinner were brought to us, the area has many wonderful restaurants and things to do. Thankful we were able to check in a little early since the roads were getting bad! We did encounter a mouse many times the last night we were there! 」

「My host was extremely responsive and thoughtful. The house by far accommodated all of our needs including a big back yard for our dog to run. The pinball machine was a huge hit for us to play and the game table took us back to our younger years. It was fun to show our 15 y.o. son how games used to be. "We stayed for two nights from September 23 to September 25. It was raining and very cold during those days. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no hot water in the bathroom. We reported the issue on the first day, but no one responded, so we had to take cold showers. As a result, both of us caught a bad cold and completely lost our voices. On the second day, we tried turning the water to the hottest setting and letting it run for 10 minutes, but only got some lukewarm water. In such cold weather, it was still very uncomfortable to bathe. When we checked out, I reported the problem again, but the front desk staff didn’t give me any response. This was truly terrible, I couldn’t even speak for those days because I lost my voice! This was supposed to be a trip we had been looking forward to, and I was also excited to stay at this hotel. But in the end, our trip to Cincinnati was completely ruined by the cold and the illness."
