「What a GREAT place to spend time with the family. Great location to the river and the beach. AC was cold, spacious, the BACK PORCH was the best place in the house. Sat and drank coffee watching the river roll by. Kids fishing, birds, raccoons, dolphins, NO neighbors were home... It was Perfect!」

「The house was very nice. Lots of room for people to sleep and living area is a great set up. I believe we stayed just after some construction was done because there were some materials and beer bottles left in the deck outside but it wasn’t a bid deal to pick up and move them out of the way. The owner also don’t send us the instructions at check in and I had to call but they responded quickly and we did get in the house without any issues. 」

「The properties was clean the home was clean. The pier was nice we caught a couple of nice slot Reds and allot of other species of fish. The host was awesome and responded to any questions very quickly. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back. And make sure to be out there early morning for that sunrise. It is beautiful.」

「For the price for one night I would expect more like the stove to work after we had to change the propane. It was clean enough but could have been better. The lights in the back bedroom did not work. Other than that the back pier fishing was excellent, we caught a bunch of croaker which were running and two large blue crab. I would stay again in the future If offered a deal. 」

「This was the perfect little studio to call home for our stay in Palacios. It was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and always cool A/C. With a perfect, unobstructed view of the bay, the screened porch was a great place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and an evening cocktail. We really appreciated that the host, Marianne, was available, friendly and so accommodating to our needs. Loved our time at Coastal Cottage. Thanks Marianne!」

「Property was wonderful. Would rent again. My only complaint is the AC was set to 78 for arrival. We’re on the Texas Coast- so that took 10 hours to actual cool the house down to a comfortable temp. By the next morning the A/C was fine, but for the first night it was hot. Next time I will ask the host in advance to turn the AC down to at least 72-74 for arrival!」
