「Host was responsive to problems we encountered upon arrival, but they should have been addressed prior to arrival through housekeeping management.The kitchen was not well stocked with dinnerware, so come prepared if you have a full house.You’re at a train crossing, so be prepared for train horns and crossings 24/7.The cabin had comfortable beds and lounge furniture and the air conditioning was good. Would stay again if our favorite spot is unavailable.」

「The breakfast was fantastic! Especially loved the apple cinnamon waffles! The stay all great except the really strong musty smell. I know it has been remodeled and looks great, but that smell is pretty strong in the halls and rooms. We've stayed here several times. And while it might havr had a smell of an older hotel, it was never really unpleasant. This time it was. We come through from time to time, and will likely stay again, but hopefully they can figure out the source of the musty odor!」

「Pictures don't do it justice! This was a great place to spend our vacation in. Creek right behind the house was absolutely stunning. While I was drinking coffee on the large porch the first morning, a deer welcomed me to the neighborhood. Incredibly peaceful spot. We did a lot of sightseeing, so we didn't get a chance to fish the lake that's well within walking distance, but heard it is a great fishing lake.
