「Lovely cottage ideal for 2 people. Everything you could want. Excellent location with plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring the local area. Plenty of leaflets and books provided to help you with this. Just a little tip: if you are staying in the colder weather you might like to gen up on your fire lighting technique. There is a lovely log fire and plenty of logs. The owner could not be more friendly and helpful.」

「Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. 」

「We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages).
