"Well equipped apartment on the top floor of a hotel, where the staff had differing views to the owner as to the facilities that were available as a non-guest. Lounge area was compact, shower was over the bath with restricted shower-head adjustment. Comfortable bed, we appreciated the air-con in the bedroom. Ideally located in the centre of Mondsee and within earshot of the Basilica’s bells! Good value for money when compared to the equivalent hotel room."

"We loved our stay in Kösslarn. This area is one of the prettiest Planes in all Germany. Great food, friendly people and lots of sights. Frau Schradöbler was very nice and we felt welcome!"

"Lovely place to stay out of the way from town but close enough for lots of sites. Check-in was very easy. The bathroom was large and spacious, parking space and front lawn were very cluttered but otherwise apartment was as advertised. "

"This is a fantastic property and my family loved it immensely. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen great for cooking , and there were tons of places to relax. We especially loved the garden, the little pool , and the family room.It has lots of great little touches that you will be sure to enjoy. We were sad. We only had a three nights stay and would’ve loved to stay longer and longer. It is a fantastic place to explore both Austria and Germany.I would highly recommend this to all."

"We were visiting our family and we enjoyed staying in the oldest part of Laufen. The charm and feeling of the home was perfect for us. It was very clean and we had 1 parking space. We will stay here again"

"I enjoyed the property, a language barrier when it comes to getting arrival instructions and confusion with address that was given and the actual name of the building, difficult getting answers from the host who apologized for being out of town when I needed just helpful information, maybe I was expecting too much??"

"Not very clean. Some things do not work very well: to low water pressure, we paid 10 euro for parking but there was no regular parking place instead we had some problems with neighbours, the balcony door could not be opened etc. "

"Our family spent 3 wonderful nights at Norbert & Nicole's guesthouse. The accommodations were sparkling clean, everything was in good condition, and the apartment had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. There is a clear view of the lake and evenings on the outside patio were lovely. The surrounding towns had lots of restaurant options and nearby grocery stores (though be careful if, like our family, we arrived on a holiday in which case much is closed). We had easy access to...

"Beautiful views at sunset, nice dinner options at the on site restaurant, nice setting for a relaxing couple days off but the best thing about this hotel is how great the service was. "Great Castle Hotel with nice courtyard and amazing breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. We stayed in a nice large suite with 2 stories, one for each bedroom and bathroom and kids absolutely loved it Not too many dining options late in the evening so need to drive out of Mondsee for that but otherwise decent restaurants just minutes away."

"The reception staff member was so welcoming and set the tone for us. The hotel room and facilities were wonderful. The saunas and relaxing spaces were most impressive and helped us relax after a long journey to Eugendorf, and again the following day after a thorough exploration of Salzburg. Breakfast very good. We all enjoyed it.The free bus service was an extra bonus to and from Salzburg. Couldn't fault our stay apart from it wasn't long enough and we are going to return in the autumn. Lovely!! "

Parkhotel Braunau

2/10 Terrible

"Dont book through a third party website as you need a hotel issued bookijg reference to check in after 6pm as no human manned reception, only a computer on the putside of the building. We booked at 5pm. By 6.15pm we still hadnt got the correct booking reference issued by the hotel and had to call customer services. The email with correct booking code on didnt comw through u til after 11pm. Terrible service!! Also some furniture on the room like the barhroom a inet, had the door broken off it when we arrived. Just looked a mess. Lots of noise from other residents as the floor are wood so all the noises of footsteps and chairs being moved etc bangs through the floors."
