Brave a cold plunge in the river out your back door and then warm up by the shared fire pit after. Go fishing! Walk one block to lakefront Rotary Park for sunrise. Enjoy breakfast at Ruby's Kitchen. We enjoyed the cozy studio, Little Gem, along the river. The patios allowed for great breezes and the river sounds. We like to walk into town and enjoy the beach at Rotary Park. Great location!

This place is truly a hidden gem! It reminded me of one of those spots where you definitely shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside, it looks like a small frosted structure, but once you step inside, it’s absolutely adorable. The location was perfect… centrally located and within easy walking distance of the river, where we enjoyed putting a fishing pole in the water and relaxing. The patios were wonderful, and the space was clean, cozy, and just the right size for our stay. The hosts were fantastic with communication and provided great local recommendations. We especially enjoyed visiting the hot springs they suggested. My only super minor suggestion would be to have a broom available. We traveled with our puppy and wanted to do a better job cleaning up the dog hair before we left, but the vacuum was a little too scary for her and the Swiffer wasn’t quite up to the task. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d happily stay here again! Thank you to the wonderful hosts!!!!

Truly a "Lil Gem" - this cabin's cozy treetop vibe and impeccable location did not disappoint. My pup and I really enjoyed spending the weekend here for the second time as it absolutely feels like a special little mountain retreat to us. Highlights were the neighborhood walk into town, taking in the fall colors along the river from the kitchen, and forest bathing from the patio with my morning coffee. We look forward to coming again soon!

It is a gem

This was a great find since McCall was either sold out or out of our budget for Labor Day weekend. They are pet-friendly which was also a plus. The place was set up for our arrival and a cozy place to rest after enjoying our time at the lake, skate park, and in the mountains.

Small, new getaway is terrific...

The location can't be beat. The property seems brand new and is generally terrific and will be 5 star when a few new property bugs are worked out. It would be nice to have basic shampoo and conditioner along with kleenex in the bathroom. The TV is brand new and is not yet setup with any digital inputs. All else is great!

Great stay!

Great stay, extremely clean, was perfect for our weekend getaway! Has everything you need if you choose to stay in instead or just a few minutes from downtown McCall. When choosing to stay in, you'll enjoy the river and wild life from the deck or outside seating area. If we pass through McCall again, we'll be checking to see if this property is available for sure! Awesome little place!

Booked the Little Gem for a quick weekend getaway before school started with my 9 year old. We told Gabriela that we would be getting in late so she left the light on for us. Location: Super convenient in the center of McCall. It is about 5 min walk to the Shore Lodge for a cup of coffee. Same for Lardo's Outdoors: The river is right behind the property, fish jumping all over the place, deer in the back yard. The neighbor volunteered fishing poles for us to slay the fish! Amenities: Gabriela had towels and everything waiting for us. We didn't really use the kitchen but will next time. It is fully stocked with gadgetry and utensils. BBQ was right outside on the deck. Great water pressure and water heater never ran out. Recommendation: Great for a weekend getaway or extended stay if you are a small group. We also brought our little dog who slept in his crate. he loved all of the smells and the river too! We will be back!
