“We loved the Emperor's suite! This was the perfect alternative to a hotel for us. The suite was cute and cozy with a barndimonium/cabin feel. This is a beautiful property and there were many family-friendly activites! There was a little confusion on our booked dates, but Tina handled it quickly and professionally. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The only negative was that the floors were very dirty in our unit. ”

“Very clean. Had a problem with the heat (apparently a wire was shorted) when we arrived. Owner came out immediately. When he couldn't fix it, he had someone out that evening to fix it and had no problems the rest of the stay.”

“Our trip was a family and friends trip with 5 couples. We came to ride the Hatfield McCoy trails and the stay here was perfect for that! We were able to hop right on the trails from the cabin so Jo need to trailer anywhere!The cabins themselves were perfect with PLENTY of parking!! We had all we needed to make dinners, the islands in the kitchen were big enough for us to put chairs around if we wanted to play cards but the big winner for us was the gazebo area and fire pits. “This place was perfect for our group of riders! Clean and comfortable after a day on the trails. Convenient with the Pocahontas trailhead right in your backyard! Definitely a great place to stay! Friendly and respectful atmosphere. Had a wonderful time and will be back! ”

“The house is wonderful. Very clean and tidy. View is amazing as well. I will definitely stay here again. I think this place is best suited for a couple or small family group. It’s quiet and a family friendly area. They have a great restaurant right down the road, literally around the corner. Their staff there is extremely friendly and the food is good and the prices are fair! Live music on Saturday nights. Definitely will go back there as well. Wonder trip and the snow started the night before……
