Mercure is a very decent hotel. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Beds are comfy and you can enjoy the quietness and the block out curtains. Food is not the best, but if you download hunger station app, you can enjoy delivery from most restaurants in Makkah. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My stay overall was good. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The main issue was the shower setup. One side is completely open so water splashes out and the whole floor gets wet every time. The water also drains very slowly, so it starts to pool while you’re showering. On top of that, there’s no handheld shower, which makes simple rinsing hard. We even had to use water bottles just to wash our feet. They really need to work on this. A sliding door or a properly enclosed shower would help a lot. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Overall my stay was nice. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The only issue was the shower design. Water spills out easily because one side is open and the curtain is too short, so the whole floor gets wet. There’s also no handheld shower, which made simple things like washing our feet difficult. We ended up using water bottles. I hope they improve this, because everything else was good.

My stay was overall good. The room was clean, the staff were kind, and everything else was fine. The only thing that really bothered me was the shower setup. There’s glass on only one side, and the other side is completely open, so the water splashes out no matter how careful you are. The shower curtain is also too short, so the whole floor gets wet after every shower. It’s just too bad because this is a big issue that makes the bathroom messy and inconvenient. I hope they fix it, because everything else about the stay was perfectly fine. Another thing is there’s only an overhead shower, no handheld option at all. If you just want to wash your feet or rinse something quickly, you have to turn on the main shower, which sprays everywhere. We ended up using water bottles just to wash our feet. It would be much more convenient if they added a hand shower.

It had a different smell, We booked 2 rooms next to each other but due to room smell the reception moved 1 room all the way on the other floor. The floor boys, cleaning boys no issue they are hard working and very kind. Its the upper management and the people on reception they dont even see if you are standing in front of them. No responsibility taken to give us 2 rooms on same floor no communication 😑

Hotel very nice, along with it's staff and service. The room has a mini fridge, really cold AC and a shuttle bus which took you back and forth from the Haram. The time is spaced out so if you want to come back at your own time then you would have to use a taxi (Uber). All in all, very nice and worth every penny.

Love it

Everyone was so friendly and polite. Mashallah, I love everything this hotel has to offer. Great restaurant setting, gym, shuttle to the mekah over 24/7 sechdule. Mashallah, I highly recommend it. It’s my first visit to an Arabic country after 22 years of living in the west. Mashallah, I will inshallah come here again. I am expanding my stay for another week in this great hotel.

I mainly booked the place because it has a gym that’s not working. Don’t get me wrong clean place and nice people but why there is a gym that’s not working. I was promised to for them to get it fixed. I was there for 4 days and it is still not working
