“Our team had a one day conference in Chicago. Although it was near the highway it wasn't very loud. Decent neighborhood and the good part is that it was near the highway. Lower level bed is uncomfortable, no other way to say that. I still give it 5-stars as it is as advertised. Communication with owner was timely.”

They all made mention of how clean everything was, how everything was comfortable and well appointed. It was easy to check in and check out. I think beds could have been a little bit softer (all four commented on that), but your place is beautiful! Would also recommend ceiling fans or floor fans in each room to cut out noise and for better temperature. Would……

“I stayed for graduation weekend at Northwestern. Short Uber ride to university. Basement apartment was clean and well equipped. Craig was very responsive. Only caveat is that as this is basement apartment, expect to hear footsteps from the folks above.”

“The unit was clean an orderly, however, the old carpet leaves an old mold ordor. I went to a store to purchase Febreze and Air Wick Plug Ins to mask the smell of carpet ordor. The bed linen and towels left a feeling of particialy clean due to the smell of detergent of choice used to clean bed linen and towels. In fact I use Febreze to spray down bed linen and I was unable to wash my face & body with towels and found myself washing towels prior to use, due to I could smell the use of towels of……

“The apartment was nice and clean, although definitely lacking in adequate supply of glasses/kitchenware for a party of 5. The windows were covered with plastic for some reason, which made them difficult to open. The location was not near any train line so was a bit inconvenient - we did not realize how far west of the red line the location was, which was an error on our part when researching the spot. And it's located off a busy street (Devon) that is traffic-y and noisy in the evenings/at……

“We came into town for my sisters wedding for the long weekend. Our stay was great, we had easy communication with Craig, and our needs were met quickly. Plenty of space for us to get ready and not be on top of each other which was awesome. The area is super nice, beautiful neighborhood, very family friendly with a 9 year old. “The home was very comfortable - it was modern and the beds were good. Unfortunately the repairs to make it rentable were not high quality. The bathroom sink in the half bath was leaking when we arrived. The door frame of the basement bathroom had fallen off & was lying on the floor when we arrived. The shower door in the upstairs bathroom would not stay on the track. However , none of these problems would deter me from renting again. They were just inconveniences.”

“We were very happy with our stay. The flat had everything we needed. It is well maintained. Beautiful neighborhood with tree lined streets, many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Of course many Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes and buildings!”
