    Constructed by the esteemed Sir Macpherson Robertson, the visionary behind the MacRobertson’s Steam Confectionery Works, this iconic building birthed beloved Australian confections such as Old Gold and Cherry Ripe, which ultimately became part of the Cadbury family. Notably, this very warehouse was the original home of the Freddo Frog, a delightful creation by Harry Melbourne in 1930.



    In 2020, this space underwent a transformation under the guidance of the award-winning Architecture Architecture Studio, earning a feature in Australia's premier architectural guide, The Design Files.     NOTE: From time to time, there may be a change to this process for reasons outside our control e.g. road blocks, a sudden change in operating hours of the Key Exchange Service. This will be communicated to all affected guests in advance.

    Our plants and garden are lovingly maintained to keep them vibrant and beautiful. For extended stays, our maintenance team may request permission to care for the indoor plants or tend to the outdoor lawn and garden. You’re welcome to decline, but if we’re unable to care for the indoor plants, we may kindly ask for your help in keeping them happy during your stay. For the outdoor areas, if access isn’t possible, we’ll gladly reschedule the maintenance for after your visit.
