Comfortable stay at Mercure North Melbourne

I enjoyed my recent 3-night stay at Mercure North Melbourne. The hotel is very conveniently located across the road from the major hospitals and within easy walking distance to the 58/59 tramline. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room, although a bit worn, was cleaned to a high standard with all the usual amenities available. The in-room wifi worked well. A comfortable stay and I would look at staying here again if needing to return to North melbourne for work.

The variety of food choices for the buffet breakfast was very generous.(cold and hot), and lady in charge of the buffet breakfast was extremely helpful and friendly. All the staff that I encountered in reception were also friendly and helpful. The only negative experience - there were strands of dark hair in the shower/bath (I have light coloured hair).
