Easter trip

A relaxing stay in a coastal cottage

We spent four days at the property as a family (with a two and four year old) and it was lovely. It's a warm and inviting property with a coastal cottage theme and decor, perched on a hill with views in almost every direction. Both Jim and Sonia were very accommodating and checking in and out was a breeze. Would stay again!

Perfect beach holiday home

It was a perfect stay, location was ideal, safe and quiet at night. Really impressed with the home when we arrived, lots of parking for our 2 cars (can fit 3) beautiful outdoor area and inside was very spacious for everyone to be comfortable and have their own space. Communication with the the hosts was perfect, honestly can’t rate this any less than 5 stars

Nothing short of fantastic.

We rented this property for a family wedding. Sonia and Jim had impeccable communication, it was a very easy check-in process, and the goodies left in the fridge and pantry were an added bonus. Loved that Sonia and Jim checked in on us mid-stay to ensure that everything was going okay. Would highly recommend.

Perfect holiday home in a great location

We loved our stay at Sonia & Jim’s holiday house. It was a great size for our family and we could also have friends stay in the second living room on the weekends. It was in a quiet neighbourhood, but close to shops and the front and back beaches. Communication was excellent and we were also left a welcome pack so we didn’t have to rush out to the shops. Couldn’t recommend high enough, it was great.

Beautiful property

We absolutely love this property. Lovely quiet location. So clean and well presented. Kitchen has been painted white since photos. We loved the ability to separate living spaces. Beautiful outside dining area. Communication with the owner was excellent. Thanks for a lovely stay. We will be back.

Mixed Feelings

Great location, communication good, accommodated my husbands work commitments & great having 2 separate living areas. Loved the fireplace, the ample cutlery & crockery and layout. Was a bit disappointed with the look of the bathrooms, not as modern as the rest of house plus no photos on the website but they were clean, water was hot and pressure good. Also the doonas were thin and some of us the mattresses not so comfortable for some of us.

Peaceful and tranquil

We had a wonderful stay at Sonia and Jim’s lovely house in Blairgowrie. A great place for two families to share - exceptionally clean and spacious. Kitchen fabulous size with an extra fridge in the laundry. Delightful secluded surroundings. Loved the outdoor area with big table, relaxing chairs in which to read a book and fire pit for sitting around at night. Would definitely stay again. Sonia and Jim were great hosts to deal with.

Comfy space for big family gatherings

Clean and tidy property when we arrived with plenty of toilet paper and basic kitchen amenities. The owners were very responsive whenever we have any queries or concerns. We loved spending time on the couch and melting marshmallows on the porch by the fire.

Great space and location

I took my partner, parents, brother and sister-in-law as well as their 3 year old kid and our two dogs for a long weekend at St ili. It was perfect! We were hoping to have a long weekend of beach days but the weather was cold, wet and windy and we were so comfortable at Jim and Sonia's place. There is ample room for lounging around and reading and all three double beds were especially comfortable. We are all keen cooks and found everything we needed for a cold summer weekend of games and food. Highly recommend this place, looking forward to our next visit!

Fabulous Blairgowrie getaway

Jim and Sonia made this the perfect holiday after a terrible year. Communication with Jim could not have been easier. The house was immaculate, furniture and fittings were top quality and beds and lounges very comfortable. We needed a property to allow pets and our dog was very happy in the large, fenced garden. The separate living areas allowed us to escape the teens for a quiet drink. We were very impressed with the groceries and chocolates we received on arrival and didn’t need to rush to the shops for milk and eggs etc. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful house. Thank you for making our stay easy and relaxing.

Couldn't of picked a better spot!

A brilliant place to get away to and relax. Location was great, nothing was too far of a walk. There was plenty of space inside and a lovely modern interior, very pretty surroundings as well. Fantastic communication with the owner, quick responses when it came to sorting out finer details and answering general questions. For any group of friends who want to relax and have a good time together, I would highly recommend this place!

The perfect holiday home

This home was the perfect holiday home for my wife and I and our three young children. Extremely clean and a safe environment. The house had a lot of natural light beaming in and in the evening you can hear the waves crashing from the beach. A place we will definitely return to. A place our children have already started to ask when can we go back. The hosts were so easy to deal with and always quick to reply. Thank you Sonia & Jim

Excellent stay by the beach

Jim and Sonia's property in Blairgowrie was perfect for my family's trip to the Mornington Peninsula to attend a wedding. It was well suited to six adult guests and included all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was particularly well catered for in terms of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. It would have been nice for the property to include wifi and more up-to-date entertainment technology, to allow video and audio streaming; but it is clearly stated that this is not included within the property. Both Jim and Sonia were excellent in responding to questions and queries both prior to and during our stay. When we had a minor issue, Jim was very quick to resolve it. Finally, the location of the property near beaches, the bay, shops and restaurants was exactly what we hoped for. I recommend the property without hesitation and would thoroughly enjoying staying here again.

Christmas in Blairgorie

Easy to get to from Melbourne the hosts provided a well looked after home with everything you need the local IGA is really good and some good places to eat although extremely busy after Christmas Day the house picks up the sea breze from the ocean side and the bay side very quite area .the yard is well fenced and our frenchy could not get out . Short walk to the back beach but to far to walkthe to thefront beach
