Good and bad... But mostly good
Positives- Comfy bed, great location, great gym, wonderful lounge and umbrellas. The service of our agent meeting us was exceptional, Sedrick was so lovely and was very helpful. Negatives- $7 per hour street parking for 2nd car, not really a 3 bedroom (a curtain doesnt count as a room) No salt and pepper, no sheets for the cot (I was delivered some in lightning speed) , no spare towels for the pool and a very dirty exhaust fan.

Thanks for your feedback Cascie, as we value it enormously.___I'm glad you thought your stay was mostly good!___Unfortunately, we don't have full control over what Expedia shows on our property pages. We have added the floor plan which disappeared at some point, as it clearly shows the curtain, but there is nowhere that we can describe this on Expedia, as we can on other sites. Likewise, we are unable to point out that we do not supply cot linen , as laundries will not accept it.___Yes, there is only one car space with this apartment. Like most city locations, you need to use nearby side streets or parking stations if you don't have the space you need.___Fortunately, we don't make mistakes very often, and I apologise about the salt and pepper, as this is normally supplied in grinders; and the exhaust fan. It was obviously missed at the time.___We would love to supply pool towels, and in fact we did this for some time, but again, laundries won't accept them. We always have spare towels in our apartments, so hopefully you found these. I do hope that we see you again, with your returning-guest discount. You are welcome to return here, but if you would like to try somewhere else for a change of scene, we have nearly 30 different locations around inner Melbourne, with more than 1,000 reviews at 4.9 Stars, so there are plenty of reasons to 'StayCentral' and lots of scope for variety. Flexibility to offset basic issues with the proper
Chris and Max were very good and flexible throughout the time we booked and used the property. Unfortunately a stuck toilet door not able to open or close meant that only one toilet was usable. Cleaners returned after highlighting initial cleanliness issues. Location is fantastic, same as safety and check-in and out process.

very clean apartment and close to everything e.g.. trams ,buses, tourist attractions, shopping , Crown casino and even little supermarket downstairs. Very happy will rebook in future.

Great location for Grand prix
Easy access to the city and also for our daily commute to Albert Park for the F1 Grand Prix. Lots of restaurants close by on Southbank.

Handy location in Southbank & also close to CBD.
Clean and comfortable property with two bathrooms and a verandah. Be mindful it is only two bedrooms with a third annexed area curtained off which is the third room, which may not always be convenient, for example if you had planned on that room for an infant.

Very late check in of 3pm was difficult, access with a mobile concierge is not convenient and we were charged additional to leave our bags with them until the late check in time and then had to wait at the location for check in as Staycentral were late. There is no access to the building until you do check in so we were waiting in the street on a wet, cold day for access. This is NOT a 3 bedroom apartment; it is a two bedroom apartment with a curtained off extra living area with two single beds in that area. Very disappointed that it would be promoted and charged for as something it is not. Both toilets are in the bathrooms so in the morning there is a wait for the toilet while people are showering; overall it is not a good set up for groups of more than 3-4. Public transport is not close to the apartment and you walk around 750 meters on busy streets to get to a tram; again, this is workable, but the cost of the apartment does not reflect its location, facilities or accessibility. Taxi's and Uber need to be called and access is not convenient on busy City Road. Good location for a business stay with parking on site but not good for shopping and socialising weekend visits to Melbourne. Hot water is dodgy and locks to balcony and bathrooms were not working.

Thanks for your thoughts. I wish I had seen this when it was made. ___There are many errors here, and the review is very old, so I will be brief.___Access is normally fine if guests confirm their ETA with us.___Unfortunately, we don't have full control over what Expedia shows on our property pages. All other sites describe the third sleeping area clearly and with a floor plan, and I have been able to add the floor plan since then. Thanks for helping us realise it wasn't there.___It is very common for toilets to be in bathrooms. In larger apartments you may find a separate toilet.___Public transport is just around the corner in Queensbridge St; a maximum of 300m from the front door. You can check this on Google Maps.___It's about 350m to Southbank Promenade's shops and restaurants. There is a supermarket next door. Flinders St in the CBD is only 500m away.___There is a central hot water service in this building, and we are not aware of any problems with it.___I don't recall if we were told about the locks when you stayed, but they are certainly working fine.___ Our guests are welcome here, but if they would like to try somewhere else if they don't like what was described here, we have nearly 30 different locations around inner Melbourne, with more than 1,000 reviews at 4.9 Stars, so there are plenty of reasons to 'StayCentral' and lots of scope for variety.___ Regards, Chris McDonald,___ StayCentral Melbourne Corporate Apartments.
