Comfy short stay

Room was basic but comfy bathroom was nice however fridge and tv were not usable but this was fine for one night The pub on the bottom level has great food

Its facilities, Competitive Pricing, Amenities, Kitchen, Roof top, TV Room, Bar and Restaurant Hygiene and Location. Prompt and Scheduled Cleaning Services are really Appreciated. Provisions for healthy and safe environment with many sanitation and sanitiser equipment in many places of the building, you would really feel secure. You will always feel you made the right choice, specially for people planning to visit other places, this location has everything in proximity from Shopping Centres, Cafes, Restaurant’s and Beaches and Many More.

Comfortable stay for budget minded travellers

All good, I did feel some bed bugs but other than that all was good. Great and friendly reception service and a bonus drink voucher on check-in! The only thing I wish they did not close the rooftop area at night as it is the only comfortable and quiet place to sit down and work on computer. Have not had a chance to check out the new TV room.

Vary far awayfrom tram ststion long walk.Lob by looks very different from picture of web-site. It is ONLYvery small and old. But it is goox to have lift in building . Corridor matches photos and bathroom of room.

Not my personal taste

This hostel wasn’t my taste, but others seem to really enjoy it. Great area and social activity. Staff were great. The hostel was a bit run down and dirty, not to mention messy roommates that exacerbated the problem. There are roaches and other insects... I was bitten six times on one arm and it really gave me the heebie geebies! I left a day early because I couldn’t take another night there. Great for others, just not for me.

Good location and free welcome beer

Good location, within walking distance of the beach and town centre. Comfy beds and really nice bathroom. Greeted with a free beer token at the adjoining bar. Highly recommended for backpackers

Great location and better pub

Staff very welcoming and friendly in both the hostel and also the attached pub. Each dorm has its own bathroom which I find a lot better than larger shared bathrooms. Kept well clean and tidy.

Very dirty I ended up sick after a week

The place smelled like drugs immediately when I walked in my room. I was gagging and wanted to leave but had prepaid and got there at 10 at night so it was too late to leave. My bed had been used and not made properly and the bathroom was constantly flooded with nowhere clean to place my things. The German girl at the front desk was very rude when I checked in and asked about parking though the other guys at the front desk seemed ok. Luckily some nice people were in my room or I would have rated this place a 0.

Dirty rooms!!!!

it was a good 5 days night but the beds really terrible dirty also carpets as well. Beds were comfortable. Shower needs to be detailed cleaning. The lights are not enought for each room. Reception was not helpful. This place was like a bunch of student and teenages club.

Would Stay Again

Kind and helpful staff, fun bar with decent specials for hostel guests. As this was my first time in a hostel, I'm not sure I could compare it to anything, but it seemed mostly clean. Bathrooms could use a little more love, but that's what flip flops (thongs) are for. There is a team of hostel guests that does most of the cleaning for free accommodation, so you can't expect 5-star cleanliness from people who don't care/are only doing it for the free stay. The area isn't bad - just a block or so away from a Coles grocery store, and Acland street which is full of shops, cafes, banks, and bars. And just past that is the ocean. About a 15 minute walk to St Kilda pier, where, if you're lucky, you can see penguins at night :)

Private room in backpackers

I was meeting my partner so we had a private room and it was lovely, very comfy and clean. At the same time, we still got to meet a few of the international people in the pub downstairs, played some trivia and ate there too. The food and atmosphere in the pub are awesome. Short walk to Acland street and the Esplanade and a 25 minute tram ride into the city. Great staff as well, I'll gladly stay again.*****

would be perfect if there was NO night club above

For $AUD 63/night (10% Expedia discount), a private room is a bargain for Melb. CBD. 600m to Luna Park: great location & lots of street parking overnight for cars: well lighted. Room is clean, large, had a balcony, private & HOTEL-quality bathroom. Negative: our private rooms are on the 3rd floor with a night club on the 4th floor. We slept on a TUES 25-Apr-17 & the night club was NOT operational. But the owner on the 4th floor was cleaning & active @ 0200hr. With a thin roof & likely NOT made of solid concrete, our sleep were broken a few times. When the club is operating, I think sleeping will be tested: read other reviews. Also, night internet was NOT operational because it could NOT cope with many users. Morning access was fine for low data usage, eg reading emails. I will book again, but NOT on weekends or when the night-club is operating.

値段通りのホテル

やはり安いホテルだった分、気になるところがいくつかありました。１番困ったのがWiFi。無料とは言ってもかなり重く全然繋がらない。動画も写真も送れない。そこが１番残念でした。あと、トイレのサニタリーボックスの中身がわたしの滞在中(7日間)1回も掃除されていなかったのが気になりました。床にもゴミがずっと残っていたので、清潔かと言われればうーん、という感じです。しかしこの安さですので寝てシャワーを浴びることのできさえすればいい、という人には最適なホテルだと思います。朝食付きと書いてありましたが、朝食はあまり置いてありません。
