Do not add children under 12 (they stay free). Please send us a note instead to let us know the total number of guests. Rural private pet friendly setting in the picturesque Ouachita National Forest. Large picture windows covering two sides of this six sided house overlooking the Irons Fork River. This completely remodeled beautiful home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a queen sleeper sofa and two recliners, washer/dryer, central heat and air, wood burning fireplace along with full kitchen including stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Fully furnished with all utensils, pots, pans, small crock pot, electric knife, blender, tea kettle, toaster and coffee pot along with linens and towels. Adding that special touch, including soaps, shampoos, coffee etc. make this a true home away from home. Living room has 50" plasma TV, DVD/VHS player, and tons of movies to choose from. Relax and unwind on the extra large deck overlooking the water, or take a stroll among the many flower garden paths, or visit the fruit orchard only yards away. There is a large hammock on the deck for relaxing and a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Charcoal and lighter are not provided. A firepit with 4 chairs are in the back. You most likely will see many wild animals including deer, bunnies, squirrels, armadillos and occasionally a friendly bear with her cubs will stroll along the back of the field. We are approximately 30 minutes from Wolf Pen Gap trail head but have plenty of relaxing roads and trails to ride your ATV or side-by-sides in the area. The only internet we receive here is from our phones. Please print directions and map. GPS devices will most likely get you lost out here in the "sticks" lol. Pet fee is $30 (max 2 pets) All pets MUST be in crate/kennel when left unattended. Again, please do not add children under 12 (they stay free). Please send us a note to let us know the total number of guests.

WOW—can’t say enough about this house. It is right on the river, has a nice deck, very clean, well appointed, great hosts, amazing gardens & landscaping and comfortable. All to be enjoyed. You might even get lucky like I did and see the bear!!

Excellent stay. Becky went above and beyond with welcome cookies. They left worms for fishing, and poles, and just a bunch of wonderful things which you don't think of until you don't have them. We had a family gathering for 5 days, and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. Very relaxing property.

Beautiful Property

Very well maintained property right on the river. We had so much fun fishing off the deck. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, almost like a botanical garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing stay. The hosts could not be more accommodating.

Excellent property! Super clean. Beautiful setting next to a soothing river. Relaxing, peaceful. Well stocked with everything needed. Pet friendly. Wonderful hosts, kind and accommodating. We read and rested and hiked the many nearby trails in Ouachita National Forest. Tranquility.

Gorgeous property

Our stay was amazing. Wish we could have stayed at the house more. House was immaculate and spacious. The bed was just right. Roland and Becky are great host. The scenery is beautiful.

Great location

We loved staying at the Glass House!! My twelve year old son and his friend loved fishing nonstop! We loved roaming the property all along the river. So peaceful! Are biggest highlight of the trip was the ATV rentals on the trails into the mountains. Absolutely amazing experience that I will never forget.!!

Great stay

Friendly host and a beautiful piece of property ! My girls enjoyed the dogs coming over to the house every day. The creek outside the house is amazing. Would recommend staying here.

Relaxing and peaceful

We really enjoyed this property. The owners were gracious hosts who provided a wonderful atmosphere. They have well-stocked kitchen and baths with some extras in case you forgot them. If you need something else, there's a Walmart in town. The deck was so nice to sit by and listen to the water and fish off of. Everything was welcoming for our dog, too. She loved the winding paths and enormous greenspace to explore!

A home away from home.

What a great place to stay. The owners are super nice. Nice quite location out in the country, right on the river. Beautiful location mountains to ride in close by and a lake just a short drive away. We will be back for sure.

Great get away within 3+ hrs of our home.

Relaxing, peaceful, dog friendly, where Mattie had lots of freedom to explore. For us, the views of nature were the best. Just what we needed for a recharge... away from the noises of the big city.

Wonderful Place!

If you are looking for a place where you can relax, be secluded and have all the amenities, this is this is place! My husband and I went to just get away and it was beyond our expectations. The hosts are wonderful. They had music playing for us when we got there with homemade cookies and our names on the welcome bar. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this cabin for your next get away or vacation!

Beautiful Property

Before reaching the house, we were impressed with the grounds and the ambiance of the property. Even with the river reduced to a few deep pools,due to drought, the house is beautifully situated on the river bed. The house is very clean and comfortable, the manicured woods and gardens surrounding it provide a sanctuary for those seeking peace.

Peaceful

Very peaceful and beautiful place in a wonderful location. We absolutely loved the moss walkways into the garden areas, the large wrap around deck as well as the beautiful home wrapped with large picture windows!! The hosts were amazing and thought of everything and even had fresh baked cookies she made for us upon our arrival. We highly recommend this rental as it is one of the best in our book!!

Weekend Getaway

We were looking for a place to getaway for the weekend and this checked all the boxes. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need and would think of. Perfect hidey hole

Water was not high enough to kayak but it was low enough to see fish in their natural habitat. Very much enjoyed the view. Nature was literally all around! Relaxing- calming - absolutely wonderful! We will return!

Beautiful View

This place was amazing! The view will blow you away. The entire back side of the house is windows, allowing you to view the river the house sits on anytime you want. Or you can sit on the deck, lay on the hammock, listen to music and relax to the sounds of the river and nature around you. We'll definitely be going back

Star gazing

Property is well kept and Roland and Becky are great! The river/creek was nearly dry due to drought, so we weren’t able to fish from the deck ☹️. Otherwise everything was great! Nice & peaceful. Trees had good color. We will be back!

Wonderful friends getaway

The property is beautiful and the glass house is so clean! We thought Mena had multiple antique shops and restaurants but many were closed. The creek at Glass house is very pretty and the moss paths add an enchanting feeling. The hosts are very responsive people who baked cookies and left fresh flowers for us which was an amazing touch❤️

Tranquility in the woods

The owners, Roland and Becky, made this property 100% better than perfect! Wonderful hosts, professional, friendly, kind! The property is secure, well decorated and located right by the river. Quiet, but close enough to town amenities! Cookies and welcome/congratulatory anniversary tidings were well received! Will definitely stay again! Thank you!
