「This property is beautiful and very nice. The only thing I didn’t like is that the bed was to soft for me. I felt like I was sinking into the bed. The view is amazing! The swimming pool was very nice. The hot tub was not working so unfortunately we did not get to use it. 」

「Cute cabin, close to Mentone, but still private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. 」

「Cabin was perfect for week or weekend stay. The host left snacks for us which was nice. She also had dog bowls for our pet. Cabin was very clean and just minutes from Desoto State Park. I will come back again. 」

「Open design with elements of mid century and modern day mixed. I like older homes for their lived in feel. The furnishings in the bed rooms and the vintage paint by number paintings are my favorite. I’ll definitely stay there again. The deck on the back of the house provides a great view off the brow.」

「Excellent. As a person who lives in a 520 sq ft cabin, just a hint concerning the Murphy bed. You may want to consider a full size bed rather than the queen murphy. The only irritation was the bedroom door will not open nor shut without picking up the bed. This was an irritant to me because I like quiet and dark when I sleep. The door issue makes privacy in the bedroom a problem. 」

「A lovely, small cabin with lots of comforts, nice touches, and efficiencies all around. Lovely aesthetic. The kitchen was great, the hot tub was excellent, the rec room was fun, the blueberries were gorgeous and tasty, and the surrounding nature was just perfect. We felt very taken care of by the hosts. Local Mentone Market, Arts Center, and Elevation Bistro were faves. Visited Brow Park for sunset and hiked at DeSoto Falls. A great, low-key getaway. 」

「Beautiful property if you’re looking for some solitude in nature! The house is well built with that modern rustic feel. It was nice and cool in the hot August weather, and had every comfort when away from home. We enjoyed being able to unplug and listen to the sounds of the woods and the river below. We made each of our meals at the cabin and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We loved being able to take a walk several times a day down the long winding driveway through the woods. And...
