Adorable Lake Cottage

This cottage is so cute and cozy. We went skiing at Devil's Head and this was the perfect place as a home base and way cheaper than the resort. The cottage was also clean and had games as well. My only complaint is that I can't find an open summer weekend to book my next trip.

Property needs some lovin. There were things that didn't work in the house; such as tv in bedroom. Exterior was ok but wasnt the cleanest. Kayaks were very difficult to get in the water and get into. We did enjoy our stay. Was a lovely sunrise from the deck!

great family weekend getaway

cute little cottage right on the lake in a beautiful location. my kids (ages 4, 3, and 1) loved it. close to ski area and not far from other local attractions. a little on the small side, but was perfect for us as we were out and about most of the weekend, and a bonus was the cabin was pet friendly. the property manager was excellent with communication and replied to us right away when we had questions. would definitely return!

On the Lake Weekend

You can't ask for a better spot "on the lake.' We enjoyed relaxing on the deck with great lake views. The house was welcoming, clean, and the perfect size for our family. Check-in was easy and our host was responsive and helpful. Perfect weekend get-away.

Star gazing at devils lake

My son wanted to go to Devil’s Lake State Park for his birthday. We wanted a small quiet getaway and we got it! The added bonus was the kids catching fish right behind the house. Very close to state park. Great little lakehouse. Very clean! Will definitely stay again.

Cute lake cottage- reminded me of my parents home- great communication with Chris regarding TV issues- could have been cleaner-you could see dirt/ dust under bed in single queen room when sitting on living room couch Overall worked great little place

We had really hoped to be swimming a lot since we paid a premium to be on the lake but the water was very gross when we got out after giving it a try we were covered in green slim. The dock was extremely wobbly. We asked where we could find more toilet paper and were told they only leave a “starter supple” which was half a roll for 4 people for 4 nights. The pots and pans were so damaged they weren’t usable and the knives were too dull to safely cut. If you come during Mayfly season be prepared to be swarmed. Two of the nights we couldn’t be outside at all. The place was clean and supplied plenty of towels. Host responded quickly. We had a great time at nearby Baraboo and the crane foundation.

Great for furbabies

For people 'of a certain age' like us, there was NO TV for 3 days because we do Not has streaming services.....so there was absolutely NO television option. It was in the fine print/description, we just didn't realize that meant NO TV options at all, so be aware of that. That being said, the location and view was ideal and beautiful!
