Your Private Coastal NC Waterfront Escape. Dock, deck, sun, peace, REPEAT!

"If you are looking for a private waterfront getaway, this is the perfect place. We were able to fish and swim from the dock. We used the ramp at the house to put our Jet Ski in and ride all day with very little boat traffic. The host was very responsive and set us up with a sunset cruise boat charter that was amazing. Our dogs loved swimming in the water and playing in the yard. The area is a sportsman's paradise with WMAs and great fishing/crabbing. The area is rural so expect to drive 15-35 minutes to stores and restaurants (Mayo's had great local seafood in a casual setting). This was a great place to have a quiet family vacation."

"This home is cozy and spotless! The pictures really don’t do it justice! They thought of everything! Brandon the host is awesome! My family absolutely loved this place. The location was quiet and serene. But they had enough for us to entertain ourselves from water sports to include a canoe and kayaks to fishing poles and crab traps. There wereboard games, karaoke and an arcade! I can’t say enough!!!"

"If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab and go. They also have a coffee and tea bar available 24/7 with snacks, wine, and beer. The entire house was beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable that once my head hit the pillow, I didn’t wake up until my alarm went off. I stayed in the Roe Suite and web pictures do not do it justice. It’s a large suite with two entrances, one leading directly to the room that has the drinks and snacks (very convenient). The sitting area has a large comfortable couch, tv, and bookshelves filled with books. The bath, with tiled floors, full-length mirror, large double sink counter space, separate shower and large tub, is as large as the bedroom! And I have to mention the location, right in the middle of town, walking distance to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, and a short distance to the grocery store. The innkeepers have thought of everything including a welcome gift with chocolates and a package of Magnolia House coffee. I will definitely return."
