“Hotel Desertica is one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. The location is 10/10, the staff are so friendly and the rooms are unique and luxury. My wife was ill for a day and the staff prepared off-menu chicken soup to make her better and provided local medicinal tea, which really helped. We had to change hotels due to availability but was so unimpressed by the alternative that we returned and spent the rest of our trip at Hotel Desertica. 5* all round!!”

“Casa Solcor is a lovely property. A true oasis once on the property. It has very nice areas to sit and relax along with two pool areas. Breakfast is excellent with plentiful choices of meats, cheeses and fruits. The also offer cooked to order eggs. There is no on site restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the luggage assistance upon arrival and departure. We stayed in a medium sized room but the larger rooms appeared to be superior in all ways. Parking on site but……

A lovely restaurant attached to the hotel. We would have welcomed a better early breakfast provision for guests leaving for early morning excursions.”

“There’s a market right across the street to buy water / groceries. You go down a block & a half to the main stretch where there is restaurants (they accept credit) and lots of little shops. The shops are cash only. Cute rustic hotel with friendly staff. If your tour is early morning, they will give you a sandwich and juice box to have later. ”

“Such a nice place directly on the Calle Caracoles with everything around. The hotel has a great atmosphere with a wonderful outside lobby/chill area and pool. Staff was very helpful with recommendations, airport transfer booking and storing luggage while being in Uyuni. Definitely recommend!”

“Lovely property. It is modern but infused with all the local designs and artifacts. We had the farthest room in the hotel, so the walk back and forth from the entrance wasn’t that much fun. But guess someone has to have it. The restaurant could have a little for variety in the food but then the downtown is only a few minutes away (either by car that we had or the complimentary shuttle) with many more restaurants. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Cumbres and was a perfect ”
