「Enjoyed the Superman accents in the building and the suite. It's just across the square from the Superman statue. Very clean and we enjoyed the full kitchen - just what we needed. We were there for the 2024 eclipse, and we appreciated the sun/moon/eclipse-themed snacks the hosts left for us. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay here again.」

「House had everything we could possibly need or want to have a wonderful weekend. The screened porch was great for relaxing, kayaks were fun, nice little dock for fishing or stargazing. We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD」

「This was our third time booking this home on VRBO. We always enjoy our stay here, and this time was no different. It’s a very cozy home to stay in. We never spend much time here throughout the day since we always come up from Texas to visit family here locally, however we are here overnights. The beds are very comfortable, and it’s very spacious and quiet. They are pet friendly and since we never travel without our dogs, it makes it very nice to book here. We plan to return again next Spring.」

「The owner was very good at communicating. She made sure that the air matress we needed was already pumped up and made up before we got there. 「Loved staying at this location! Easy walks to everything downtown. Right across the street from the Gold Rush Cafe! Awesome breakfast!! Other restaurants, shops, entertainment venues close by. We did venture out to the Purple Toad Winery and Red’s Donuts (must go early for best variety!) Yum! Also a short ride away is Metropolis, if you are a Superman fan! Paducah is a fun area to explore!」

「There were 6 of us late 50's to early 70's. We there to attend the AQS Quilt Show in Paducah. We were surprised and a bit troubled the bedrooms were upstairs. The stairs are extremely steep and was difficult for us to go up and down. We did bring a cot along and was glad we did for our 6th person as the sofa bed did not appear to sleep 2 comfortably. Otherwise everything else was enjoyable.」

「We enjoyed our stay at the house on Hohman lake. The house was clean and well maintained. The owners are great to work with and very responsive! The hot tub developed a leak and they were there promptly to check it out and had fixed it quickly! We were there during the eclipse and they even provided eclipse glasses. The lake is a nice lake to kayak on. This was our second stay at one of their properties on the lake and look forward to coming back again!」
