Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Whether you are looking for a couples getaway or a multi family get together the Bearfoot Barn is a quiet place nestled in the trees. Wrap around deck with fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a wood burning fireplace for cozy nights in. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms for 5 guests, full bath, kitchen, dining room and family room with big screen tv, movies and games. Upstairs is another family room with electric fireplace, tv, table sitting area, and special kids zone with tv, games and recliners just their size. A bedroom that sleeps 5 and full bath. 2 Balconies that look out to the trees and a seasonal creek. Down below enjoy relaxing under the trees in hammocks while listening to the creek.
Just Minutes from Long Barn for Ice Skating, Pinecrest Lake, and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort.

wonderful and cozy

this cabin is clean and cozy. ten of us stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us. the games and movies provided were great (we ended up having a jason bourne marathon)! the kitchen is stocked with the essentials which we appreciated since we stayed in the whole weekend. the host was very attentive and easy to get a hold of if needed. definitely would book again (maybe when there's snow!).

Cute little spot

Stayed a few nights with the kids and we LOVE this little cabin. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone. Upstairs is the perfect kids spot with TONS of games and VHS movies with a living area. Kids room with 3 twin beds with queen was so cute with the stuffed animal heads above the beds. Loved the fall decor in the home. Super homey and comfortable. Cabin had a TON of plates, dishes, cups, pots, bowls, towels, etc. We cooked our own meals and even bought our own pots and rice cooker just in case. Cons: the beds are very squeaky and not as comfortable. Stayed 3 days and 2 nights and there was no toilet paper so we had to go buy some from the market. Didn't think it was that big a deal to bother Dandi with but would've liked to have extras in the bathrooms. We would stay here again for sure.

My cousin was getting married and we needed a place to stay. We booked this cute cozy cabin. The pictures in the website don’t do this place justice. This cabin is so cute , cozy and welcoming.

Everything we needed was there. Literally 3 different sitting tv rooms/spaces. Nice hig table. Cell plug ins everwhere. It was hot but there was air-conditioning in every room. We didn't make it down to the fire pit but we are committed to return so we can. Owner were awesome answering every question asapcheck out was easy

Celebration of Lifr

We had the best time...Beautiful cabin. My grandsons really were excited to have toys to play with. Our family lives in Sonora Ca and we were there to for a celebration of life for our mom. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there. We visit often and would book this cabin again.

Perfect Family Getaway!

If you have kids this is the place to go! The layout is perfect for everyone to have their own space. Our kids absolutely loved the little loft area with toys and games. Dandi was amazing and provided so much information up front we had no issues. Cannot wait to book our next stay here, the kids are already begging to come back!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Dandi’s cabin. It was cutely decorated and the kids loved the bear theme. The cabin was well stocked and had lots of supplies, including rice cooker, airbeds etc. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Wonderful Cabin!

We came to celebrate our twins 13th birthday who had never been to the snow and came with our family and 4 of their friends. The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group with plenty of space for the kids to lounge and play upstairs (they loved the pac man game!) The cabin was very clean and decorated so cute. The outside deck area is also very nice and would be amazing to enjoy during warmer weather. The host was so communicative and prior to our arrival provided any information we could possibly need regarding the cabin, where things are located, and how things worked. It is also very conveniently located close to places to eat and Twain Harte is only about 10 minutes away, and 30 minutes away from Leland's Snowplay. It was such a great cabin and we cant wait to go back again!

Family snow trip

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin. Woke up to snow on Saturday and the kids enjoyed sledding in the back. The indoor BBQ was a big hit. All the rooms were so cute that my daughter couldn’t pick her favorite. Everything was so nicely organized and clean. The kids loved the upstairs area and the games and toys kept them busy in the evenings. We would love to come back in summer to enjoy that nicely furnished deck. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us.

Super cute cabin decor and friendly host!

We had a great time and loved our stay at the Bearfoot cabin. It accommodated our two families of four just fine, however it was a bit tight and some of our family is tall so we hit our head a few times in the A-frame. Other than that, it was outstanding and we’d definitely return or recommend it. Dandi was a great communicator and it was hard to leave!

Our new favorite cabin!

The cabin is absolutely charming! It was decorated for the holidays, enhancing our vacation. The layout is wonderful for families, we will be back this summer. I truly appreciate the pride they have in their cabin it’s incredibly clean and well stocked.

Lovely cabin!

The Bearfoot Barn is a lovely spot for a family vacation. Our kids (ages 5 and 8) loved the upstairs loft space, full of entertainment for them. It's located in a court, low on traffic and ample parking. We enjoyed it!

This bye far was the best cabin ive been to, the house is amazing. nice clean and cozy. Had the best time with my family and mother I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice lil getaway and a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed this home It was very nice and was well stocked with all you need The Beds were GREAT and was very clean I would say that the climb up to the deck and front door was steep If you were an older person with any walking issue It would be hard for them to get Up . Cozy and comfortable cabin

Our family enjoyed our visit at the Cozy Cabin in the Woods. The host was extremely helpful during our stay. She answered all our questions, and I had a lot, via text as quickly as we asked them. The cabin was clean and inviting. We have a large family and the cabin has more than enough space to accommodate us. If heading to the mountains I highly recommend this cabin.

We had an amazing time at the Cozy Cabin! The host was so kind. She kept in contact throughout our visit during our stay, there was a winter storm. The pictures don't do the cabin justice, it was beautiful, fully stocked, and very clean! We definitely would stay again. We got lots of snow at the front door.

Very clean and cozy

Overall my family enjoyed our stay! Super clean, nice area, very cozy, we stayed warm , we had everything we needed and more. The kiddos and our teens had plenty of games, tv and toys to play with. Would definitely recommend this place for a family trip.
