I had a wonderful time staying at Aloha Fridays. I like a good value but quality is super important to me. My service dog, Kali and I both felt welcome and at home at Aloha Fridays. Upon entering the building, I met Rudy. He was so kind and helpful from the moment I met him. The first night there my tv needed to be reset. I called the reception number and they were so warm, friendly and helpful on the phone. I told them no one needed to come that night to fix , tomorrow would be fine. I saw Rudy near the pool the next day and he was already on it . I also enjoyed dining at the restaurant and the truffle fries were wonderful! I also had a coconut of coconut water and it was divine. The server was so kind. The pool was fabulous and the entire outdoor pool / patio sitting area is lovely.

Prédio antigo, mas o interior dos quartos é bom. Nao tem atendentes humanos, mas o pessoal do bar anexo ajuda. A localização do hotel é excelente, tudo a pé, uma quadra da praia e das atrações noturnas do sul de Miami Beach. Chat em português da Expedia ajuda muito para tirar dúvidas.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. This property is not as advertised. The rooms are dirty and inaccurately represented on the website. Had to try three rooms and still not acceptable. Windows in first room were covered by plywood outside and window film inside. Request to leave and get a refund on the first day was ignored. MULTIPLE COCKROACHES in room, visible dirt on surfaces, droplet stains on molding near toilet. Water damage near the shower. Security gate codes are disabled, guest room keypads beeping through the night. Birds nesting in ventilation openings to building and in a hole in the eaves. Exposed wires in the pool area “hidden” beneath and behind lounge chairs. Restaurant and bar closing hours early on several occasions leaving mandatory paid for room credits unusable. The free beach chairs are located at 15th st, but the nearest cross street of the hotel is 10th st. Have attempted to address all of these issues directly with the hotel as well as with the assistance of Expedia and for a week no representative from the hotel has responded with any meaningful information. They keep saying the team is aware, but no timeline or conversations have been provided.

Our first room had two issues, the window shade was broken and the towel rack had fallen and was laying on the bathroom floor with debris when we checked in. We were told there was not another room to move to the next day but when they evaluated the situation they suddenly had a room to move us to. The new room was great and bigger as the pictures had originally advertised but there toilet made very loud whistling noises at all hours randomly (you had to jiggle the handle to get it stop). Also, the windows were not sound proof. That said, the space was nice and it was centrally located. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well and they were very responsive by text to all concerns. It is a bit difficult to be in hotel without a front desk but I think their communications are well set-up to address issues. We did not make it to the pool sadly but it looked nice though not super big.

No on site staff or cleaning all week was a little strange. Never stayed at a place we had to pay to have the room spruced up. You can definitely hear the local night clubs or should I say, feel the base, from them. Staff were great - Diane (Diana? at the restaurant is a gem). We did have a drunk guy try to get into our room, we texted and called security as he kept knocking on our door and trying to get in. The gate to the motel rooms (aka Bungalows) was never locked. Restaurant made what I wanted for breakfast (simple eggs and salad). Was a little thrown off by the lack of staff/concierge. Parking at the municipal lot was $20/day.

I had to stay in Beach Plaza because the room code keys were not working. Then I had to drag my bags down there. Also, the lights in the hall were out in front of room 413. on the bottom landing entering the hall and at the front door. A very dangerous situation since the rear gate in the alley is never locked. Tara and Juda were the only staff that made things better. they both are an asset to your company. Also, a golf cart is needed to transport your guests in the event you have to relocate them.
Rear door doesnt lock. This door leads to court way. person can still get inside of villas although the front doors to the villas has a code on them after 8pm.
LIght was out for two weeks. I stayed here. I told them about it. High Security Risk. You cant see putting in your door code.
Rear gate code inoperable. Security risk. You can still access villas
Bird droppings on outdoor furniture for two weeks. Biohazard
