I would like to express my gratitude to the entire staff of the Blue Moon Hotel. In 2017, I had my first solo trip as an adult and stayed at the Blue Moon. Recently, I had the opportunity to stay there again, and it happened to be on the hotel's final day of operation, although I was unaware of this when I made my reservation. Despite not being able to stay until Monday, I didn't hesitate to book the trip. The staff during my stay this weekend was truly exceptional. They were the friendliest group of people I have ever met. I hope that each of them goes on to create amazing new lives as this chapter in theirs comes to a close. They have helped me both begin and end a chapter in my own life, and for that, I am truly grateful. My stay was wonderful, thanks to their assistance with a late check-in and check-out, providing water, excellent service, and prompt responsiveness. Thank you!

This hotel overbooks their rooms - stay away!

Having booked and prepaid this hotel 5 months in advance of our trip, we arrived after 17 hours of travel and with two children in our party. We arrived and were immediately surprised to see that there was no actual reception but a small desk in the corner of the lobby. We waited for more than 20 minutes to be attended as there was only one person attending the customers and at the time he was arguing with another guest who had arrived a few minutes before us and was being told they had no room for him. We were next, and same message. The hotel could not give us the room we had booked and prepaid and they were sending us to another hotel a few blocks away. Believe me, this is not what you want to hear after such a long trip and with two tired children. We asked them to get a taxi for us and although initially they said they would pay for it, we ended up having to pay for it ourselves! The lack of respect that this hotel showed for their guest is honestly something that I had not experienced before at any other hotel in the world, truly appalling. Once at the other hotel and after another 35 minutes in reception, we managed to get two rooms instead of the large family room that we had originally booked at Blue Moon. So, we had to split the family in a family vacation...I tried to speak to the Blue Moon manager two days in a row but he was always away. They promised me a reimbursement of 50% of the first night for all the inconveniences caused but I am still waiting...Stay away

Super friendly, helpful staff are the best part of this wonderful hotel close to all the South Beach action while still quiet enough not to keep you up all night! Bikes, pool, cucumber water, valet parking, comfy beds were all highlights of the stay. My daughter and I were always greeted, felt safe and enjoyed all the amenities. The beach access is great with a discount on chairs. Beautiful courtyard and common areas. Really, every single person we came in contact with who work for the hotel was phenomenally, friendly and helpful. The value for the cost was the best I have experienced in a long time. Would definitely stay here again!

Location, comfort, art deco charm

We had almost a week stay in this hotel. It is on a perfect location & very comfortable. Unlike most of Miami beach hotels, this one is quiet & classy. The pool is small but precious when it is extra windy, since it is in a courtyard. The staff is very polite & helpful. You also get the beach towels in a branded hotel bag & 2 free sun loungers at the beach with "Boucher Brothers". This offer is precious, trust me (currently it is a value of 40USD which you can use towards chairs or other loungers they have). You can rent a sun umbrella on top & pay by yourself. Please note that you have BB everywhere but ONLY ii the area next to the hotel you have this offer. They have a vallet parking too. We opted for municipal parking which is 2 times cheaper & safe. No parking spots on the street. Worth mentioning is that parrots used to wake us up every morning (sitting on those palm trees). We found it funny, there are parrots everywhere in Miami beach. But some people might find it noisy (green birds & the street noise).

Great location, within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the beach. The staff is great and very helpful. The rooms have a comfortable bed and are clean but are extremely small, the bathroom is a decent size but not very practical, there’s no counter space and the shower was a bit strange. The only complaint we really had was the valet, they offer valet, for a fee, but is through a company that serves several hotels in the area so it takes forever to get the car, we waited over 1 hour for our car to be brought around.

Our stay was wonderful! The Blue Moon hotel has a fantastic staff, everyone is extremely helpful. The resort provides you with a $25 voucher for the restaurant on the property, gym membership, towels and chairs for the beach, and more. The room was spacious and clean. They came to refresh the room daily. I would definitely be staying again!
