Elevator was broke and we had to carry our own bags up and down. They should have had better bell service knowing the elevator was out of service. While the room was clean the bathroom is tiny and outdated. Best part of the room was the space. They could have given some of that to the bathroom. Great location though and ok for 1 night. Restaurant served delicious food but we could do without the smokers.

Hotel was very clean and the staff did a good job cleaning our room. Luis at the front desk was very accommodating by making sure we had beach chairs and extra beach towels. Room left a little sterile. The air conditioner in the room was very loud when on as well as the ceiling fan. Amenities a basic. Coffee in the morning was only located on the 2nd floor so if you are on the third floor you need to go down to 2nd floor to get coffee. Last 2 days of our trip there was no milk available for coffee. We also purchased the breakfast options to include breakfast in our reservation. Breakfast was basic. The breakfast menu was limited.

Unfortunately, there were several misses during out time here. The room we booked via expedia was completely different set up than reality. The room we got felt smaller and had no vanity mirror, or place to do your makeup. Buyer beware that the photos that show the room are not accurate. They did move us to a room that had the layout we were expecting but had to wait and spend a night in the original room they gave us. The elevator did not work the whole time I was here. This means I had to walk up and down the stairs several times (even though staff told me the elevator would be fixed shortly). I even had to carry my luggage down 3 flights of stairs. One of the staff walked into our room without knocking. He literally just opened the door and walked in on me my partner taking a nap… as you can imagine, this situation could have been much much worse especially considering that there is a female staying in my room. We did not feel a sense of privacy or safety for the rest of the stay as a result of feeling that our door could be opened without notice at any moment. No ice in the ice machine. There were little ants in the room. Something should be done about that - I’ve never seen something like this in any premium hotel I have stayed in. All in all, I am disappointed with the quality of this stay, especially considering the price. Gave this 2 stars because the location is actually great and they do have the benefits of providing bikes, towels, and beach chairs.

It’s a Cuban vibe. Restaurant and bar on site, both were tasty and at a good price. Staff is accommodating. Room is clean . Entire hotel is modern and updated as needed e.g new very modern bar stools. Hallway had a nice fragrance I was told by their newly hired Director of Operations Mgr there getting feedback from guest and staff and assessing the facility said the owner is the entertainer Gloria Estefan My congrats to her. The check in was super easy the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean and even a nice bottle of wine in our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice spot for your trip to South Beach.

I did not stay at the hotel. I called to book a room. I was told that the room was available. Next, when I arrived I was told to walk to another hotel and they had a reservation waiting for me at the ken more. Once, I arrived to the kenmore I was told they had no rooms. I waited 20 minutes and the front desk clerk finally gave me a room. I had to re/pay for the new room although I was charged already through expedia for a room I never occupied.

Cons: The rooms are small but more importantly, the lack of cleanliness was definitely disappointing. Our original room was not cleaned, only the linens changed. Rust stains on the shower floor in all the rooms we checked out that just looked so gross. Water spots o the floor ext to the toilet was likely urine and the floors were very sandy. Also, visible black mold on the bottom of the ice bucket in every single room we visited as well as a musty/moldy odor in the rooms. We complained and was given another sub-par room - both rooms had no had soap in the bathroom dispensers, which had me grossed out thinking about all the surfaces touched by the unwashed hands of guests before us. How do you not check/refill hand soap dispensers? The manager was rude and dismissive and did not care about the lack of care or attention to cleanliness that affected our guest experience. I have a feeling all 3rd party booking guests may receive the same treatment. We had friends that booked direct - larger room and not as many issues, although they also had a moldy ice bucket. Beach chairs are also old and tattered. Don’t stay here. Pros - Location is great. Go for the onsite restaurant, Call Me Cuban Restaurant. The food and service at the restaurant are excellent. The hotel, not so much.

It’s a cool looking hotel in a great location however. The bed is noisy, the AC is loud, the pillows are useless, the hot water is almost non existent (had to let run for 28 minutes before warm water made it there). If you are on the 2nd floor or lower, booming music until midnight. The front desk people were nice. Room was clean and bright. If you want rest, go somewhere else, if you are there for a great location, party and don’t care about sleep, this is your place.

Desk staff was friendly. Bedding was clean, but the surfaces in the room were kinda dirty. Very little sitting space. Ceiling fan made weird noises all night. Lots of noise coming from the hallway. TV remote didn’t control the TV but a little box hooked to the tv we had to expose before it would work. Had to turn off TV manually. You’re really just paying for location.

Cute hotel in a great location right across from the beach, 15 minutes walk from the main shops . Nice rooms, but ours ( 207) which was more expensive with a view , was opposite the elevator and was VERY loud . It was windy , so we could hear the hotel sign rattling outside as well .

Staff extremely nice and helpful, especially Indhyra Carola Ortigoza Urdaneta at the front desk, who helped me find the best resolutions to some travel glitches I encountered. Room was lovely and amenities great.
