Beautiful site near Tamiami Trail

This is a beautiful property. The entryway and living area are very inviting. The backyard pool and lounge area are secluded with a mix of sun and shade. The master bedroom takes up half of the upper floor, so the remaining rooms are on the small side, but very comfortable. The furniture is well used, the dresser drawers don't slide easily and come off their tracks with any pressure, so that was annoying. If you are just living out of your suitcase, no problem!Very convenient to Everglades, Krome Avenue the airport and the Turnpike.

The worst experience I have ever had with Vrbo

First thing that happened my mom fell at the entrance she slipped with an old dirty rug and her leg, then this was the dirties house I’ve been too the ad for this supposed luxury house is very wrong Vrbo has to investigate this ad! Dirty everything broken my son has to tighten chairs they were all wobbly loose the bathrooms are disgusting the towels were not washed they were full of hair and dirt I had to spend money on buying towels for everyone the bathtubs were full of grim and dirt the curtains were falling apart only two tvs worked out of 6 the pool was disgusting the stones were broken off the patio furniture was full of mold it’s too much to write and I wish I could send the pictures I have for this house

When we arrived, the home had a strong musty odor, and the overall cleanliness was not what we expected. The furniture appeared as if it hadn't been reset after the previous guests, the pool area looked unmaintained, curtains were discolored and hanging off the rods, and we found ants in the kitchen.One upstairs TV did not work, the downstairs bedroom ceiling fan was not functioning, several light bulbs were burned out, and a closet door was missing a knob. The bedroom with the single bed and bunk beds had no power, so the lights and TV did not work. My granddaughter had to sleep on the couch for the duration of our stay. There were not enough washcloths and hand towels, so we had to purchase them.To John's credit, he offered to send a crew to address the issues. I appreciated the offer, but instead of sending someone after I agreed, there was continued back-and-forth through email about what time would work. I didn't see those emails until that evening because I was expecting the crew to simply arrive. While I understand he was trying to be considerate, none of the issues were resolved during our stay.The most disapporinting was no follow-up after our stay regarding the unresolved issues or the inconvenience they caused. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I believe guest should know what our experience was. With better cleaning, maintenance, and follow-through, this property has potential. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not stay here again.
