Review of Hyde Beach House
The facility/building itself was nice, however there is no restaurant in the building and it did not come with enough of the basic things I received in other places I have booked through VRBO. For example, there was no soap to hand wash the dishes, no kitchen towels and no spatula in the kitchen. Also, there was no Keurig for cofee- just a regular sized coffee pot- that did not come with the proper sized coffee to make with the pot. So as a result, was useless. It also did not come with enough garbage bags for the kitchen or toilet paper to last for my stay and when I asked for more was told I had to contact the host- which I did, but did not get help for those items either. The condo needed a new paint job and new throw carpets and the couch in the living room was not very comfortable. Also, the hot tub was out of commision for half the week I stayed there, so that was disappointing as well. Two of the lights in the bedroom were not working, however they did send maintenance up to repair that during our stay.
The Walmart that was listed "next door" was about a 10 minute walk to get there, so we used instacart for groceries.
