Nice location and very attentive owner

The location was very convenient for getting to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. We had places to visit in both so wanted to stay in the middle. The building staff were all very pleasant. Any issues that arose with the unit were handled by the owner very quickly. Having the parking garage was also very convenient and there are several restaraunts a short walk away. The Mediterranean restaraunt - next to Five and Below was delicious. Panera and Starbucks were easy to walk to for breakfast. There is a shuttle that takes you over to the beach but it is only an 8-10 minute nice walk. .

We noticed the floor was extremely dirty. It looked like it had been swept, but it clearly hadn’t been mopped in quite some time—we ended up with dirty socks and feet and chose to keep our shoes on the entire stay.The room setup was similar to adjoining hotel rooms, with a connecting door between them. However, if that door was closed, you couldn’t reopen it from the other side without leaving the room, using a separate key, and re-entering through the main door, which was inconvenient.This place has a lot of potential but needs some attention and upkeep. I wouldn’t stay again unless improvements are made. That said, the host was very responsive throughout our stay.
