Not the best place to stay at
I did not enjoy my stay here. The only reason I did not leave is because the owner refused to refund the unused nights, even after I raised the issues I had. He kept wanting to “negotiate” a refund at which point, I just stopped the conversation. The place wasn’t clean at all but he kept telling me they cleaned it, even after I sent photos of footprints in the bedroom and crumbs in the kitchen. Didn’t send anyone to take care of it. Thankfully I did not see any bugs. The place isn’t aesthetically pleasing to look at. You can see rust on the bathroom fixtures and chipped paint on the bathroom sink. Bedroom closets don’t have doors and they look unfinished with paint residue on the floor and you can see some part of the wall is broken. He tried to convince me the place has a “rustic” look and that all of those things were shown in the photos. There’s a reason there are no pictures of the outside too. The AC in the living room is pretty loud and doesn’t reach the kitchen. They only have 2 set of cutleries and no spoons. I was told to use the plastic spoons provided. I don’t ever use plastic to eat at home but hey, that’s what they have here. This one was definitely a first for me. The only good thing is at least the bed was comfortable. Regarding the other reviews, all I can say is that people do have different standards indeed. These were all deemed insignificant issues by VRBO, which is why they didn't help, even after I sent photos. So if what I just described here isn’t a big deal for you either and you’re ok with the rate they’re charging, then by all means suit yourself and stay here.
