Mike is more than willing to offer advise on the best local places to visit and check out for a family staying at this home. Very peaceful and secluded in a great way. 「Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!」

「We enjoyed a nice long weekend. The house is conveniently located for skiing, bowling, and the iron mining museum. The kitchen is very spacious and I appreciated the extra items (condiments, kleenex, enough silverware) that aren't always available.」

「We can’t say enough great things about our stay! Sweet home with AMAZING views, very clean, comfy beds, original artwork fills the home, great hostess - very attentive, so much to see and do! We spent our week exploring nature and saw a moose, wolves, lots of eagles, osprey, hummingbirds, deer, and a lot of birds! Amazing! We WILL be back!」
