“We had a wonderful time. The yard was a nice size with lots of room to walk the dog around and you could walk down the road there was almost no traffic. The house was what we expected. ”

Also, easy drive to Cherry Spring State Park for spectacular stargazing. The apartment was super cute, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our weekend stay. ”

“Really cool old house with a great property. We had everything we needed. To those who complained about it not being clean or whatever: it's a 100 year old house, not The W Hotel. Old houses have old floors, fixtures, etc. that might show some wear. Most call this 'character'. We dug it, and if you approach it from the right perspective, you will to :)”

“We had a wonderful time during our stay! The Octagon was clean and spacious! This was the perfect home to relax and unwind! We enjoyed the game room. We had great star viewing each night on the deck. The large fire pit was perfect for s’mores! We enjoyed exploring the land; checking out the creek, trails, and pond area. Joe was very responsive with any questions we had leading up to our stay. Just a couple notes and why we didn’t give 5 stars- the rooms were a little less private due to gaps……

“Charlie was an amazing host. Greeted us on our first full day. Property is wellMaintained and has a fantastic view. Everything you need is there. Only word of caution if you have small kids grab a baby gate cause the stairs are steep. Great stay!”

“My daughter and I visited the area to tour Corning Glass Museum. Great location…there is a Wegmans close by. Comfy beds. There were Bottles of water and snacks waiting for us in the kitchen, which was really nice.”
