From the moment I arrived at the B&B, the owner Wendy was incredibly hospitable. She personally picked me up from the train station and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. She made me feel really at ease, and the fact that she went out of her way to accommodate me by cooking and ensuring there were food supplies, despite this not being included in the price I paid, was beyond what I expected. I was visiting Middlesbrough for an internship and I had no idea how to reach the destination. Wendy was incredibly kind and she drove me to the destination on my first day, saving me from being late! The second day I took the bus and Wendy's partner, who also stays B&B and helps out, personally showed me where the bus stop was and even accompanied me to my destination to ensure that I knew which stop to exit the bus. I doubt many places would offer this which is incredibly telling of how generous, warm, kindhearted, hospitable people Wendy and Dennis are.
Aside from Wendy mentioning in passing that she has plans for renovating the place e.g. whilst there's an inside toilet for upper floor guests, there's an outside one for ground floor guests which Wendy plans to change, I don't think anything needs to be improved. I really enjoyed my time at the B&B and wholeheartedly advise that people stay there; it really is a nice area with a great atmosphere. This is a genuine, real review having stayed at the B&B for a week and truly loved my time there; I will most definitely be revisiting!
