「Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. 」

「We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. 」

「I received no information from the host about accessing the rental. The two phone numbers on the listing do not connect to the host. Thankfully a neighbour had the host's number or we may not have gotten in! The staircase to the apt. is treacherous and the place had a musty odour. There was black mold in the closets and only bottom sheets on the beds. There was no page of information for the unit.The airconditioning worked well, as did the shower head. 」

「This unit isn’t anything special; cheaply renovated, poorly decorated, oddly shaped. The toilets are sensitive, so we were instructed to not flush toilet paper and the shower didn’t drain properly. We found evidence of mice in the kitchen. We didn’t have enough towels for our group. However, otherwise we had all we needed, including a washer and dryer and two bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, though lacked top sheets. Overall it was okay for the short stay when there was nothing else...

「Wonderful little cottage. Great communication from the owner. Location was fantastic - not far from water and only a short drive to the winery. We came up for a concert at the KEE, and it was very easy to get there and back. Would absolutely stay here again! 」

「My friends and I had a great stay! The location on the beach was beautiful. Not a far walk into the town which was nice. The cabin itself was good. The only thing was we found the ramp to be a bit tricky. But overall, the cabin suited us perfectly. The manager and the maintenance staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our stay better than expected. Thank you for a great weekend!」

「Michael’s house has plenty of room for all. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed hikes and beaching at Awenda Provincial Park. The parking passes for Awenda and Tiny Township were a really nice touch! 」
