「An easy drive from the Twin Cities, this was a perfect couples getaway! We enjoyed this sunny cabin’s wraparound windows facing the lake and three season porch. We fired up the cozy wood burning stove almost every day. Plus we like to cook and this kitchen was well laid out and had all the basics we needed to make some fantastic meals. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful.」

「The property is as advertised on a very quite lake. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat watching the wildlife with pelicans, swans, and loons adding to the wooded beauty with no other boats. Fishing was mostly perch and catfish along with one Northern. A wet spring made the mosquitoes challenging but all the more reason to be on the boat in the lake with a breeze. Beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked. Definitely a great spot not far from the Twin Cities.」

「We stayed Tuesday- check out Thursday. Great rate for a very clean facility, comfortable bed with great breakfast options. Loved the pancake machine and yogert dispencer. Check in person asked us right away -:do you know the water park is not open during your stay - yes, I checked online hours and was aware. No riff-raff in this area like other cities st at and easy to get around with our exploring between Baxter, Brainerd and Nisswa.」
