Tried to call the property as I was told by them to give them eta so they could have parking available for me. NOONE answered the phone all day. At check in staff was not very well trained. Barman at hotel lobby was extremely rude. So was the maitre d of the restaurant. all and all I would never go back to this hotel.

Tolles Hotel. Aufmerksames Personal. Ausreichendes Frühstück . Unsere Suite war eine sehr gute Wahl mit viel Platz für 3 Personen. Jeder hatte seinen eigenen Bereich. Der Dom, andere Sehenswürdigkeiten, sämtliche Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The facility is a bit dated, and the walls are paper thin. Location was ideal for our trip, we didn't try the food/bar etc.

We’ve stayed at another hotel in the area but Hotel Cavour was better in every way, especially the friendliness and courtesy of the hotel staff and their willingness to be of service to their guests. The location is excellent; the room was comfortable and quiet; the lighting was adequate considering many hotels now have terrible low- lighting in trying to conserve energy. Breakfast was abundant and very nice. We will stay again at Hotel Cavour the next time we travel to Milan.

Wonderful reception at Hotel Cavour . The concierge went out of his way to make us feel welcome and have the best rooms ready for us even though we got there before the normal check in time . Amazingly he spoke 5 languages fluently . The hotel is in perfect location within walking distance to the top tourist sites . We were there for business but appreciated to be right were things are at in Milano.

Not worth it
Subpar hotel, which oversells itself with services that are either limited or pay per visit... First things first, there are redeeming features (always start with the good, they say). Area is great, rooms are decent, breakfast is not bad (but no revelation either). However... I had one positive encounter with a receptionist, who was lovely. The "main guy" there has a lot of attitude and addresses just about everyone in a condescending manner... When I inquired about access to the gym he spitefully said "I told you already, you have to get a separate key made for it". And he is right, he did. But I guess I didn't understand what he meant because how absurd is that? What a weird way to get access to a gym. Every single day you have to ask the receptionist for a separate key...!?!! As it turns out, the reason is that they only allow ONE at a time, because it's so small. On top of that, it's in the same area as the socalled spa (also an incredibly small area), which is not included. It's €30 per time and has to be reserved (none of which they told me upon arrival and none of which is clear from booking a room with them). This also means that you will likely experience that the place is booked for hours and that you can't access it... When I did finally go to this socalled "gym" / "spa", I found a tiny room with 3-4 basic machines and no dumbbells or free weights, as well as a few basic shower rooms with a steam area... Overall there are just much better options in Milan.

We have to register every time the person for secutity reason and we give the key every day to be sure how many person stay in Spa.The Jym is free, but if you want use the turkish bad and hydromassage and the Spa is only for you and correct, the price is 30.00 Euro
