Perfect location for a short stay
I read various reviews before booking this hotel; some were very positive, while others were quite negative, which made me a bit worried. However, since we were only staying for one night and leaving for the airport in the morning, we decided to give it a try.
I was aware that there would be no reception and possible extra charges at certain times, so we arrived at the hotel as soon as we got to Milan.
Noise:
We stayed on the ground floor, right next to the elevator and escalator. It was very noisy whenever guests walked by with their suitcases. Additionally, noise from the floor above was quite noticeable, I could hear people walking, dropping things, and moving around.
Condition:
The room was clean and well-equipped with a very cold A/C, along with everything you might need. However, the lack of a window in the bathroom made it quite moldy, and the shower drain should be cleared before the next guest checks in.
Location:
- 1-minute walk to Cadorna Station
- 20-minute walk to the Duomo
Summary:
This hotel is ideal for a short stay, especially if you have transportation connections at Cadorna Station. However, if you are very sensitive to noise, it may not be the best choice for you. Additionally, if you arrive late, be aware of potential extra charges or the possibility of no one being available for check-in. It might be wise to book somewhere else to avoid any troubles.
